Milo Yiannopoulos lost a second gig Monday afternoon over his remarks defending underage pederasty, when Simon & Schuster cancelled plans to publish a book by the gay conservative provocateur this summer.
Adam Rothberg of the publisher’s public relations department made the announcement on Twitter Monday afternoon.
“After careful consideration @simonschuster and its @threshold_books have cancelled publication of Dangerous by Milo Yiannopoulos,” Mr. Rothberg wrote.
“Dangerous,” a title playing off of Mr. Yiannopoulos’s “Dangerous Faggot Tour,” had been set by a June 13 release by Threshold, the conservative- Yiannopoulos was recently disinvited from the Conservative Political Action Conference after a podcast emerged in which he appeared to endorse sexual relationships between “younger boys and older men”.
He said young boys "discover who they are" through such relationships. And even if they are sexual in nature can "give them security and safety and provide them with love and a reliable rock where they can't speak to their parents".
Yiannopoulos' $250,ooo book deal was met with significant criticism because much of he espouses racist, sexist, and transphobic from his prominent platform.

I wish Milo were different in some ways; but I’m in favor of saving the baby from the bathwater, and hoping for his future development. (And, Miss M., though I don’t think you were comparing intellects, I don’t think there’s any comparison between those of Milo and Glenn Beck ;-)
Ask yourself why Milo’s book was cancelled. Not just any book, not just any publisher.
Do you think an open minded publisher would cancel the number one book on every best seller’s list just a couple of weeks before the date it comes out.
This is more trump bashing and anti-Republican bashing from the publisher. Boy, I’d love to be a fly on the wall at S&S. I’ll bet it came from the top.

Shrug. I have no idea why Milo’s book was cancelled. Maybe because of his big mouth? No doubt anti-Trump hysteria had a lot to do with it, but I notice the great David Horowitz’s books, Ann Coulter’s books, are still being published. Lots of pro-Trump books are being published. But, in the end, I have no idea why Milo’s book was cancelled. I haven’t been following it.

I didn’t say anything because your list is full of crap.
You presented: David Broc a money man of no particular loyalty and not loved by the left, Andrew Sullivan someone who was always on the left no mater how much Instapundit promoted him, and Huffington. The only person on that list that might fit your category is Huffington and she’s particularly odd case given how little she was known before joining the left in 2003. Assuming that Milo will be welcomed based upon her seems very unlikely.
And frankly I couldn’t care less if he flips to the left 5 years from now. Milo is a tool to harm the left and frankly to give Conservatives a glimpse into how screwed up the Homosexual community is. I’m not a Milo fan, but I’m also not interested in throwing away tools that work well against the left.

Neither of them are stupid. But I saw the same kind of worship on FR of Glenn Beck that I’m now seeing of Milo. In fact, although many do not believe me, there was a short-lived prayer group for Beck on FR. Look where we are today with Beck. And he’s another one who veered left when he was rejected by the right.

Her Opinions about Milo are fine, but giving aid and comfort to the people who are trying to Jihad Milo is very bad idea. We lost for years because we not willing to attack the left directly as Trump showed us and worse we’ve been unwilling to defend our allies or at least ignore there attacks on them when the left decides to destroy them. You can’t have functioning unity if your allies are always one media attack away from stabbing you in the back.

I don’t really see ‘worship’ of Milo, here. I see tempered appreciation, on the part of some, of what he has done to further awareness among young people of the ‘murder’ that political correctness and the liberal mindset are doing to Liberty in this country.
I don’t think we’ve seen, yet, that Milo is being rejected by the Right. There’s proof enough on this thread that he’s been a wonderful ‘mixer-upper’; and he was ‘campaigning’ for many of our concerns for months before the election on University campuses all over the Nation. I’m not sure we know for sure how many young people may have been persuaded to vote against Liberalism, or at least had their minds shaken up a bit.
