Milo Yiannopoulos lost a second gig Monday afternoon over his remarks defending underage pederasty, when Simon & Schuster cancelled plans to publish a book by the gay conservative provocateur this summer.
Adam Rothberg of the publisher’s public relations department made the announcement on Twitter Monday afternoon.
“After careful consideration @simonschuster and its @threshold_books have cancelled publication of Dangerous by Milo Yiannopoulos,” Mr. Rothberg wrote.
“Dangerous,” a title playing off of Mr. Yiannopoulos’s “Dangerous Faggot Tour,” had been set by a June 13 release by Threshold, the conservative- Yiannopoulos was recently disinvited from the Conservative Political Action Conference after a podcast emerged in which he appeared to endorse sexual relationships between “younger boys and older men”.
He said young boys "discover who they are" through such relationships. And even if they are sexual in nature can "give them security and safety and provide them with love and a reliable rock where they can't speak to their parents".
Yiannopoulos' $250,ooo book deal was met with significant criticism because much of he espouses racist, sexist, and transphobic from his prominent platform.

The conservative firebrand was told he will not be able to attend the event this weekend by Matt Schlapp, chairman of the American Conservative Union.
He released a statement on Monday saying his invite was ‘rescinded’ after the ‘offensive’ video surfaced.
‘We realize that Mr. Yiannopoulos has responded on Facebook, but it is insufficient, he added.
‘It is up to him to answer the tough questions and we urge him to immediately further address these disturbing comments.’
Their move comes just hours after Yiannopoulos strongly denied that he was defending pedophilia with his comments.
On Monday, he wrote on Facebook: ‘I’m partly to blame. My own experiences as a victim led me to believe I could say anything I wanted to on this subject, no matter how outrageous.
‘But I understand that my usual blend of British sarcasm, provocation and gallows humor might have come across as flippancy, a lack of care for other victims or, worse, “advocacy.” I deeply regret that. People deal with things from their past in different ways.’

A five-minute edited tape of the discussion was posted online forcing the controversial media star to clarify his comments.
Yiannopoulos was due to address the annual Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington this weekend.
After the footage was released, conservatives called for him to be banned.

I must have missed the interview where Milo suggested that other people should adopt his orientation. And at least among the Christians I know there is a difference between opposition to individuals because of their own personal behavior, and opposition to political ideas, or groups who seek to impose their ideas on others. The former seems like a form of bigotry, and is inconsistent with Christian theology. If that's the way you feel you may be out of place among conservative Christians.

In my family of eight kids, one of my brothers is gay. It was tough to accept that initially, but pretty soon, he found full acceptance within the family.
However, he’s one of the most strident lefties (I have others in my Mass. family as well).
But I told him one time, “I wish you were American first, and gay second”... instead of the other way around.
So this is why I was so pleased to hear MILO’s message. We should be deeply grateful for what MILO has done to attack Leftist hypocrites and support College Republicans at more than 50 universities.
MILO helped get Trump elected. CPAC, meanwhile, almost destroyed the party with their Never Trumpers.
