White House Deputy Chief of Staff and #NeverTrump Republican Katie Walsh has been identified as the source behind a bunch of leaks from the Trump administration to The New York Times and other media outlets, according to multiple sources in the White House, media, donor community, and pro-Trump 501(c)4 political group.
“Everyone knows not to talk to her in the White House unless you want to see it in the press,” says a source close to the president. “The only question is whether or not she’s doing it at the behest of [White House Chief of Staff] Reince Priebus or if she’s doing it to advance herself in DC media circles.”
One source in particular stands out: Walsh is close to Maggie Habberman, a New York Times reporter who wrote fawning pro-Republican National Committee stories during the presidential election. Walsh has also planted stories in The Washington Post and Politico.
Walsh is referred to as “Madame President” in the White House, says a senior aide. “It isn’t a compliment.”
Walsh would have significant access as she controls the president’s schedule. There’s also reportedly a trove of e-mails where Katie Walsh and Reince Priebus discuss how to rid themselves of Trump, according to a former #NeverTrump consultant.
“The president and his allies have been deliberately feeding her fake information in order to find her network,” says a source close to the president’s family. “It’s been going well.”

I’ll wait to see about the veracity of this, as this has the same kind of unnamed sources that we see with MSM fake news. To me it’s much more likely that it’s some Obama holdovers.
I still don’t know why Reinse Whatthehell was ever taken into Trump’s group. He was a pathetic head of GOP candidates, and withheld funds from the candidates he didn’t like. Not sure why Reinse Whothehell is anywhere near Trump.

In my darker moments I think he’s a “minder” for the GOPe, a concession for their allowing Trump to actually become President. I’m also somewhat bothered by the expansive role of the Vice Presidency. Since when do VP’s go abroad making major policy speeches to allies, especially speeches that are just a tad at odds with the position of the President himself? Since never.
At this rate, Trump's going to have to bring in only people who've worked for him or AG Sessions before. There is a handful of HOR reps who've been totally loyal from the onset of the campaign. I'm wondering if almost everyone else in DC is out of control, after 16 years of lazy presidents.

Reince was a concession to the establishment by Trump to get through post-election to the inauguration. Remember that not only did Trump have to weather court challenges to his election in key states (MI, PA and WI), but he also had to deal with the whole electoral college issue and rogue electors. Priebus was the concession to make sure there were no issues on these fronts. Politics is a dirty game. Sometimes you have to suck on a lemon even if the lemon is not only bitter, but also rotten.

Cuff her and “perp-walk” her, while telling the press you are giving them an exclusive on her arrest for espionage and that “you really deep down like the press”[sic].

Fake news is apparently the new norm. We read so much BS at FR many of us are so full it’s coming out of our ears. Personally, the BS I’ve ingested backed up through my throat and pushed my false teeth out of my mouth.
