MISSION — Hours before the president talked about “bad people with bad ideas” entering the country at a rally in Florida, a United States senator strapped on a vest, walked through the thick Rio Grande Valley brush as Friday night turned to Saturday and found what he, President Donald Trump and many discuss in Washington D.C. The senator linked the findings to organized violent crime.
“There were more than one that were large, young men with a significant percentage of tattoos that might suggest gang affiliation,” U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, said Saturday afternoon, recounting an overnight ride along with Border Patrol. “I don’t know that, but those were the individuals that happened to be stopped on the patrol I was participating in.”
All of the people Cruz and the patrol encountered were apprehended, he said. But he did not encounter any families, Cruz added, which make up the majority of illegal apprehensions.

This started with Al Franken's verbal sewerage that was part of dems attempts to stop the confirmation of AG Sessions. Al Franken fortunately is an idiot. The verbal assault on Sessions was so bad it can't be walked back. Only thing is, Franken also included insults and accusations against Cruz in his assault.
Since then, Cruz seems to be on the Trump Train.
Ted Cruz is a solid citizen is far more ways than he isn’t.
He has spoken against the end of TPP at all. He’s supported border enforcement, Gorsuch, every cabinet nominee, the immigration executive order....everything.
I got no complaints with Ted Cruz.
And they all report back with the same exact thing. "Bad violent people coming across in waves"
When in the world will FR get past the Cruz Derangement Syndrome crap? Sheesh, FReepers, let’s support those who reflect our values and stop damning Ted Cruz. He’s doing good work to support the policies and pronouncements of President Trump. He’s one of the good guys. Sheesh.
Well, he might be a great American patriot, but I still have seen no proof that he's even a US citizen.
Headline of this story made me think for a minute that Sen. Cruz took a job with them. ;-)
