Many, probably most of those voters felt the same way about the media before they voted for McCain and for Romney. Just saying, the "delegitimized press" isn't new or on account of Trump. Limbaugh has been reaming the press for what, 20 years?
If Rush phrased this in terms of "Trump voters," the press will continue to associate "deligitimzing of the press" with what they will characterize as some negative aspect of Trump. He's a dictator (cue McCain to deliver this line), he's a liar (cue any minor error in statement of fact), his policies are failing and his team is floundering.

We all witness the coverage. Confirmation bias is, however, very strong, and the liberals are apt to believe themselves and their kin.
Rush was on today because he wanted to deliver a simple message. Rove and McCain wants to muddy the waters for Trump. The Media wants the same. They are afraid Trump will take over the news. The news media will continue to push back on Trump’s comments about the media doctoring the truth. Trump is the better communicator. He can reach the American people on a level similar to Ronald Reagan. They do not know how to handle Trump because they cannot control the message. The majority of the people do not believe the media and are tired of listening to tired worn out negative

JMHO, Flynn was just the first name on the establishment's Hit List that got picked.
...not to mention that the Band of Slugs had to find something to get back on the offensive after all their other ploys (riots, the Famous Flaming Vagina March, etc etc) had been such flops...
Finally, as far as bringing Flynn back on.....
Lots of businesses get more results from their selection of outside consultants for the really tough jobs and I'm certain that DJT has used 'em, too.

The news media is saying Trump is not moving fast enough for their liking. The obstructions by Schummer are not mentioned. The obstructions within the GOP are sometimes mentioned. The news media seems to be against the Trump Agenda. Trump has a lot of people trying to stop his ambitious Agenda.

The public should NEVER trust the press. Even Ben Franklin used "fake news" to advance a policy agenda. It's the people who need to adjust, not the press. The people need to realize that when somebody says "trust me," that is a sign the person is not trustworthy. When the claim is that honesty and integrity are ethical obligations, same reaction. Courts are supposed to apply the law, but when the stakes are high enough, they ignore it or make it up.

F.Chucks open on MTP was a true disgrace. If you are counting lies you would lose count he told so many whoppers so fast. That alone makes the show almost not worth watching.
With F.Chuck it’s one gotcha question after another. Never an attempt at a cordial relationship between adm. and media. Really no need to attend these shows any more if you are from the Trump adm.

I read your commentary about Trump not being able to turn this back but I am sorry, but I disagree.
A NSA nominee phones up a Russian ambassador to discuss things, like they all do. The ambassador asks about those silly sanctions Obama put in for messing up the American election and Flynn says something innocent I suspect, to the effect that they’ll deal with this later after the inauguration.
So there’s a plan to have Pence go out and deny any conversation with Russia about those sanctions and right there I must wonder ....why Pence? Yes I love Pence and most times I would not question having him be questioned by press or talk show host. But why not Trump himself?
Still and so, Flynn was evidently asked by Pence if he said anything on that call about sanctions and Flynn said No. I’m thinking Flynn probably didn’t think a tossed-aside comment such as they would deal with it after the inauguration was worth mention. I don’t know this and somewhere there is a tape of this conversation. But Flynn does not strike me as a blatant liar.
So given that it’s all been explained, and your article as linked does a very good job, I still don’t know why Trump can’t stand up tall and say his incoming administration was buffaloed and they’re not throwing out a perfectly fine guy to give them a victory.
For sure the Trump voters would understand.

Liberals keep losing elections and have nobody to blame; they need to look in the mirror. They will keep losing if they continue to act like a bunch of spoiled little kids.
The Liberal Media will lose unless they start being more honest. They act like a bunch of people who become emotional after losing at a sports event. They only feel the pain from losing but have no idea how to change a losing team. They need to get better talent who have a different positive style.

The collapse of Oroville Dam would effectively destroy the the majority of the agricultural output in the Central Valley, not only from the inundation of farmland on a huge scale, but also possibly rendering the California Aqueduct useless. That could effectively eliminate the Central Valley as an agricultural region, and the coastal valleys and the Imperial Valley will no way come close to compensating for that loss--a loss that could take decades to recover from. The possibility of a California diaspora might not be ridiculous far-fetched because with the loss of the California Aqueduct, they would need to force a large fraction of the population of the Los Angeles region to leave due to lack of potable water.

it is pretty entertaining to watch. The way liberals win is by appeal to the base nature of humans. many so-called "conservatives" in power have adopted the same "elites are entitled to rule the world" view, and if they are getting payola for playing along, it is quite tempting.
Said shorter, liberals win because "conservatives" in power are fake too. The "dueling parties" act is a charade, kabuki. The people let it happen. You can blame the mugger for trying to take your stuff, but if you don't fight him, he takes your stuff.
