President Donald Trump’s administration will leave protections in place for immigrants who entered the country illegally as children, known as “dreamers,” but will consider all other illegal immigrants subject to deportation, according to guidance released on Tuesday.
The guidance from the Department of Homeland Security is the implementation plan for executive orders on border security and immigration enforcement Trump signed Jan. 25.

This is a huge undertaking, as you say, one step at a time. It will take an extended period of time just to hire the additional 10,000 ICE/Border Patrol agents.
I wasn’t sure. I thought the ability to read and speak English is part of becoming a US Citizen. I went to the gov’t site and the first thing that popped up was a survey request, with Spanish on the top and English on the bottom.

I have a feeling there will be a lot of applicants.
By the time the new hires finish their paper work, their services will no longer be needed
1. Any Dreamers the wish to stay in US must register with the immigration officials requesting US Citizenship.
2. This must be done with 30 days. Only exceptions would be for verified medical reasons or any serving in the military. Even then this is only a temporary extension.
3. This will not apply to the parents or anyone else that brought this children into the US illegally.
I hope they monitor this site and see our recommendation.

That's why I said they must request US citizenship within 30 days. Once a citizen they can reap the benefits of being a US Citizen!
