I wasn’t sure. I thought the ability to read and speak English is part of becoming a US Citizen. I went to the gov’t site and the first thing that popped up was a survey request, with Spanish on the top and English on the bottom.

Thanks for the link.

I found the citizenship test info and you are correct. There is a required English test (with some exemptions) in addition to the civics test. The English test has speaking, reading and writing components.
