It’s a state law here that one needs to have insurance, too. Unless someone is stopped by a LEO for a traffic violation, then they can probably skate.
Problem is states like CA that issue illegals driver licenses. I read not too long ago that there used to be a separate license for them, but the gov or lawmakers changed it and everyone gets the same license. Of course, that automatically puts them in the voting base (Clinton’s Motor Voter law, which I think needs to be changed). I think some states have folks check a box that they are a legal citizen, but if a person doesn’t read English or someone at the DMV tells them to check it, well....just sayin’. I haven’t been to the DMV in a while, but I seem to recall the last time I was in one that info, etc. was available in various languages. IMHO after the 2018 election, a law should be passed that English is the official language of the US and all voting ballots, DMV forms, etc., would only be in English.

If there’s one thing you can count on with government bureaucrats it’s empire building. Always comes back to their power base in the end.
I’m sure as time goes on, this “Motor Voter” will be addressed, it’s just hard to have patience.
We are so tired of having to pay EXTRA on our insurance because these folks don’t have ANY insurance, just not right.
We do need to get English declared as the National language and stop all gov. related materials printed in many foreign languages.
The more we cater, the less immigrants even legal ones will assimilate.
The WH should have lots of money left over from the Obummer years:
No 20-30 something staff for FLOTUS, so $ savings from salaries
No 30 something Czars, so $ savings from salaries
No billion $ vacays for Obummer, Moochelle, granny and the girls
No weekly concerts by rappers and others - costs for food and beverages for same
At least the 1st year, no flying around the country for fund raisers, plus the additional trips for Hollywood fun and golf trips
$ savings in salary for POTUS and Kushner (and potentially others)
Cut off welfare benefits earned child tax credit, etc., etc. to illegals
Put a tax on remittances for $s sent out of the country

There have been many issues in Sweden for a while and that’s why Pres Trump made the comment. Very few are covering the many rapes and other offenses.

They all had middleastern names. I seem to recall the other bro and the woman also worked in IT in the government.
