My father came to this country in 1956. After being on temporary work visas for three years he was issued a green card in 1959. He never bothered applying for US citizenship. He has never voted because he was expressly told it was ILLEGAL for him to vote in any election until he became a citizen! He follows the law.
Would it be an automatic revocation of green cards and H1B Visas if those holding them voted? Would that lead to an obvious cause for deportation?
That’s the problem with motor voter.
Why touch the dreamers, unless they break laws or don’t stay in work or school full time? They have until the extension expires to get their affairs in their homelands in order. No more DACAs should be approved however. At least those who signed up obeyed Obama’s regulation. Doing something lawful is a good step....maybe they learned something in spite of their invader parents.
Not to Democrats; to them it's an undocumented feature.
We all know that there is only one official language in the U.S. - Spanish. Buy anything and open the instructions. In Spanish it's easy to find. English - you have to search hard.
Of course the problem is that the instructions on most things are so badly written as to be useless. So you figure it out yourself of find the 20 minute youtube video that tells you where the on-off switch is. [you want to turn our product off? Why would you ever want to do that?]
Registering to vote is a felony.
Commit a felony and get deported. The laws are pretty simple. Only need to have the laws enforced. (Sometimes deportation happens after the prison sentence has been completed.)
To do so, they also engaged in procuring falsification of documents.
Any real itizen would be in jail for the same thing.
OOPS. I stand corrected. There was a story about another illegat\l being deported after 20 years and I confused the two stories. Thanks to COBOL2Java for the information.

LOL! No reason not to use fake news to scare the pants off the purveyors of fake news - I’ll spread it.....sometimes fertilizer helps good things grow.
“It seems like an easy job. Send out the list of all green card holders to the States and let them compare that list to their voter registration lists.
It is a felony for non-citizens to register to vote.”
Unfortunately, the states where illegal voting is most prevalent, are all run by the RATs, so this duty will fall to the Feds if there is any hope of success. I mean can you believe Jerry the Fairy Brown, or Andrew Homo lifting a finger here?
“””Unfortunately, the states where illegal voting is most prevalent, are all run by the RATs,”””
I realize that the 10 Democrat run states will fight any action to clean up voter rolls.
But, that should not deter the 40 Republican run states from cleaning up their voter rolls and creating the ‘evidence’ of non-citizen registration.
>>The state employee who allowed this should be the next one hauled into court and the news that government employees allowing this to happen will be prosecuted should be spread far and wide.<<
Disagree. The employee wasn’t in a position (nor should be) to offer advice any way or form. THAT is where the liability would come. Had the employee indicated one way or the other the illegal alien could have said “I was told it was OK.”
That attempt failed since the State employee wisely (and probably under directives) gave a proper ambiguous answer: “it’s up to you.”
I think it was EXACTLY the correct response and the court clearly agreed with me.
Is it a felony for non-citizens to simply register to vote?
Found the answer: “A 1996 federal law, and other statues, makes it a felony for non-citizens to register.”

A little ways down in the article.
“I realize that the 10 Democrat run states will fight any action to clean up voter rolls.”
Our eldest daughter and her husband lived with us more than ten years ago when they returned from Japan where they had expat jobs. They registered to vote here in Contra Costa County, CA. Until this last election, they were still listed on the voter roll here even though they have lived, registered, and voted in Sonoma County since they left. When we questioned why they were still on the rolls, we were told that they were “inactive.” But there the names were on the register you have to sign when you come to the poll to vote. They also told us that it was “their responsibility” to have their names removed. Oh, and they also lived in San Francisco for two years are were still registered to vote there as well, until they personally contacted the registrar there too to have their names removed. It used to be here that you were taken off the voter roll if you failed to vote in a certain number of elections, now your registration seems to be perpetual.
DREAMERS are just as illegal as their parents and should not be able to get a “free education” on our taxpayers dime period!
I love this. If this happens to enough of them, then maybe they will stop voting illegally and the true vote for the dems will be radically different.
Dreamers will all become LaRaza activists. Go ahead and get them out too.
