Ivanka Trumps line shot to the top of Amazons bestsellers list, as the first daughter faces boycott efforts by liberals and supporters counter with a #buyivanka campaign.
In a widely publicized move, Nordstrom department store announced earlier this month it was dropping Ivanka Trumps clothing line, which many online praised as a victory in the #GrabYourWallet campaign orchestrated to get consumers to stop buying Trump branded products.
Apparently the effort is not working or is having a counter reaction online at Amazon.
Ivanka Trumps perfume is now a #1 Bestseller on Amazon.
It is outselling Jennifer Lopezs scent, as well as Estee Lauder, Sarah Jessica Parker and Britney Spears brands, as well.
Trump did not hide his disapproval of Nordstrom after the department store decided to discontinue carrying his daughters apparel line, apparently seeing it as politically motivated.
The luxury department store chain denied that the move was in response to a #GrabYourWallet campaign, NBC News reported.
We made this decision based on performance, a Nordstrom spokesperson said. Over the past year, and particularly in the last half of 2016, sales of the brand have steadily declined to the point where it didnt make good business sense for us to continue with the line for now.
Some women posted a video online this week that has gone viral of them going into a Nordstroms location to cancel their account, announcing that they will be shopping at Dillards instead. The ladies made clear the move was based on Nordstroms decision to stop carrying Ivanka Trumps products.
A #BuyIvanka movement has developed in response to the #GrabYourWallet campaign.
Based on Ivanka Trumps perfume sales on Amazon, which also carries her clothing line, the push to punish the first daughter for the politics of her father may be having unintended consequences.

YES! Go Ivanka!
Just ordered the lovely Ms. Mich Patriot a bottle of the perfume...no earthly idea what it smells like, and don’t care.
When — not if — Target, Macys, etc. request to stock Ms. Trump’s products again, I hope she tells them to pound sand.
It slightly galls me as this is Amazon. I, too, bought a nice pair of Ivanka Booties from Amazon but I sure hate supporting Beezos.
I think of it as supporting the individual producers who sell on Amazon.
Do a search, many others still carrying. Walmart has online sales:)
That's probably the most realistic way to view it.
Liberals are like bugs in a case of flour. No matter which part you take the flour from, you're going to get some.

I expect these stores to go not only bankrupt, but close. People will quit shopping there and tell friends. Slowly anyone with a brain will buy directly online. That way Trump wins. But also support chains still not caving to pressure like Dillards.
That’s exactly true. But I do think it’s useful to do things like pointedly supporting a company that’s being persecuted. Chick-fil-A comes to mind.
Is there something in Ivanka’s line that Twinkies can
afford? If so, I’ll do my part to counter this silly
tantrum the LEFT is throwing.
Can I get Ivanka’s merchandise at DILLARDS?
I just ordered some myself. Conservative women not only look amazing, we will smell amazing too.
100% ditto. And we do and we will continue to do so.
Every time we go to Hobby Lobby in E-Town we eat at Chick-fil-A. Which is going gang busters. Inside it looks like a license to print money LOL. The service, organization and food are first rate. It is very impressive how well it handles the huge volume of people at lunch time.
How stupid do they think we are? It just coincidentally happens within weeks of her father's election?
Unlike a retarded Dumocrat I can actually draw a line between A and B.
I can’t find any Donald Trump line ties. Not election ties, but the old ones he used to market like Garcia or Rush did.
No argument, Karatemom!
