The Senate confirmed President Donald Trump's nominee, Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt, to lead the Environmental Protection Agency on Friday in a mostly party line vote.

“Democrats Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota and Joe Manchin of West Virginia, both from energy-producing states, said they will vote with Republicans to confirm Pruitt. Just one GOP senator, Susan Collins of Maine, said she would vote against Pruitt.
The final vote was 52 to 46 in favor of confirmation.”

The fascist, obstructionist “Democrats” need to knock of their BS and get this done. Clintoonie lost. They need to get over it and “move on”.
This is one of the most important appointments by President Trump. The EPA needs to be gutted root and branch. It’s become a communist anti-America agency hell-bent on destroying the economy through regulation and fiat.
God Bless President Trump and Secretary Pruitt.
Hopefully they’ll need some cardboard boxes and packing tape.
Go to the department that chokes the life out of farmers. Advise them that 5 people will remain employed at the end of the day. They will be the ones who can shred and reverse the most regulations by 5 pm. Go.
Go to the department that ordered guns, ammo and military hardware for the EPA. Fire the lot of them and put a permanent toxic employee memo in their govt. file.
Go to the department that spilled the gold mine holding pond into the river in CO. Assign them to monitoring field mouse populations in Alaska’s north slope, with a pay cut.
Joe knows that Trump just saved his state with yesterday’s signed HR but a continuation of Obama’s EPA actions would kill it for good.
Joe Manchin - coal. Heitkamp - fracking. Re-election year 2018 and 2018. In 2019, if they are still in the Senate, they will return to the fold. And they are given permission to vote their intelligence on this one issue, although Manchin votes intelligently more often than that.

“Mostly” party line. I heard Manchin and some other Dem were going to flip.
Now farmers in California will get the irrigation water they need and are entitled to, and it will be “Drill baby , drill!”
Entropy and the laws of thermodynamics say otherwise, but they choose to exaggerate and make research and political careers out of near fictitious global warming.
Remember the 7% rule. 7% increase year over year and after 10 years you have double the base you started with.
Even a modest 3-5% and you double every generation (20 years). .5% and you’ll double every century.
Now apply that to things around you.
Pruitt’s first challenge is to clean up one of the worst toxic waste sites in America, the EPA!
