Thursday following President Donald Trump’s press conference to announce his pick for Labor Secretary, Alexander Acosta, conservative talker Rush Limbaugh applauded Trump’s performance on his nationally syndicated radio show.
Limbaugh while the media still won’t warm up to Trump, it was what his supporters wanted to see, which was a willingness to tout his achievements and take on some of the claims from the media.

Rush is good, but it is still hard to digest how he derided Trump supporters as being fixated on Trump, despite his primary difficulties, and despite the fact that a “true conservative with Cruz” was running.
Rush could not understand how so many could support Trump over Cruz, when we all knew Cruz was the only conservative running in the later months. Rush often said just that, as he was still trying to sound impartial.
He openly laughed at how Trump supporters could be okay with Trump, no matter what Trump did or said.
Rush can be a huge idiot. Cruz would have been a comparative disaster.
The United States has never had a president like President Trump - Accountable only to the people - wonderful how he told the media point blank he won in spite of them. This man has never held political office and starts out at President. President Trump is incredible.
I kinda remember president Reagan he was funny, strong and smooth - President Trump is the American Revolution in your face cutting across time, class and culture. We missed out on something similar when Burr shot Hamilton.
The man has an incredible memory and is wicked smart combined with being very fast on his feet. He is right now the greatest living magician - very little he does is by accident.

Rush was - at best he was lukewarm and on the bad days during the campaign Rush was AWOL - I listened, I participated he was not a rock solid supporter if a supporter at all - Rush was a Cruz guy he was smart enough not to go all in but "you don't get more of pure a conservative than Senator Ted Cruz" I'm paraphrasing-
Yesterday wasn't much of a Rush show as he JIPed most of the presidents news conference - not a criticism just that the Rush Limbaugh show yesterday was the president Donald Trump show except I had to jump to you tube because of the many commercials that litter Rush's show.
Maybe I've gotten older but I remember him being edgier, more spoof commercials just a better show - he still does a great job but its a bit flat - like I said maybe I've gotten older and what he talks about isn't as interesting to me - like football, ever since Pete Carroll and Russell Wilson couldn't figure out how to give Lynch the ball on the goal line to win the superbowl - I've lost interest.
Oh and then there was the revelation of Rush having lunch with Senator Lightweight Chuck Shumer.
The fake media doesn't know what hit them, they basically and predictably called the presser a Trump rant and rave and ignored the great stuff that he shared. The msm is fake, everybody knows it. Tuning in to the fake msm is absolutely no different than getting your news rom SNL.

I was transfixed. I was due to leave the office around the time the presser began, but I couldn't tear myself away. I wound up pushing my afternoon appointmens back, so I could hear the whole thing.

I recall that. Having listened to Rush since Sacto as a teen, you could feel the gears turning in his head during that period of uncharacteristic reticence. You could sense the gravity of what was happening dawning on him. Until the bulb fully came on he treaded more carefully than I’ve ever seen.
You could also tell his instincts were screaming at him he was missing something momentous. It’s now all quite sorted in his mind. I don’t think he’ll be pressing the “Okay, you asked to it, NOW is the time to panic and head for the hills” button in the foreseeable future.
I had three phones in my office all autodialing EIB for hours and hours re. Trump without success. I have dear friends who knew the future preside t and praised every aspect of his character, humanity and leadership and, like Bannon, et al, to a person they never doubted he woukd deliver.
It frequently doesn’t.
The Democrats tried the same thing to get Reagan.
