Will everyone stop getting all excited by the NYT and CNN print. It's old news and based on a FBI wiretap warrant that was DENIED by the FISA court. But they make stuff up for print. They want to keep up the pressure so Trump will do something stupid, which he won't.

From the earlier report in January:"A new report released today features both the FBI seeking to launch a surveillance operation against an active US presidential campaign, and the ultra-rare case of the FISA courts actually turning down an FBI request to conduct surveillance against somebody...

Though the four are not directly named in the report, it is related to claims in a dossier of Russia having substantial blackmail dirt on Trump, and that dossier centered heavily around accusations against a handful of Trump campaign personnel, including Carter Page, Paul Manafort, and Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, along with Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen, meaning some of them may well be among the targets.

I seem to recall that the NY Times has a long history of cozying up to the Soviets by a reporter named Walter Duranty. He was their Moscow Bureau Chief for about 14 years, and filed extremely favorable reports about the wonders of the Soviet Union, and all the bad stuff others were saying about them were all lies. There was no famine in Ukraine or purges, all lies, according to Duranty. The NY Times published all of his stuff without question, and even submitted his stuff to get him a Pulitzer Prize, and they fell for it as well.

That was #fakenews then, and this whole Russia thing is #fakenews now.

This is the original NYT story: Trump Campaign Aides Had Repeated Contacts With Russian Intelligence. Buried in the story is this disclaimer:

Mr. Manafort, who has not been charged with any crimes, dismissed the accounts of the American officials in a telephone interview on Tuesday. “This is absurd,” he said. “I have no idea what this is referring to. I have never knowingly spoken to Russian intelligence officers, and I have never been involved with anything to do with the Russian government or the Putin administration or any other issues under investigation today.”

Mr. Manafort added, “It’s not like these people wear badges that say, ‘I’m a Russian intelligence officer.’”

Several of Mr. Trump’s associates, like Mr. Manafort, have done business in Russia, and it is not unusual for American businessmen to come in contact with foreign intelligence officials, sometimes unwittingly, in countries like Russia and Ukraine, where the spy services are deeply embedded in society. Law enforcement officials did not say to what extent the contacts may have been about business.

Officials would not disclose many details, including what was discussed on the calls, which Russian intelligence officials were on the calls, and how many of Mr. Trump’s advisers were talking to the Russians. It is also unclear whether the conversations had anything to do with Mr. Trump himself.

This article is pure crap. Says our intelligence officials were alarmed because Trump said he hoped the Russians had stolen Hilary’s emails and would release them. Anyone peddling that lie about an obvious sarcasm is a political pig not an analyst.

I am worried because spineless Republicans are joining the mob clamoring for a hearings and an investigation. The DC establishment is intent on deposing Trump and they have the MSM on their side. The traitors are out for blood and I don’t see them giving up.

Trump’s crew had contact with Russians?

Well that’s a problem.

Hillary sold herself to many nations.

Trump better get up to speed!

Calm down everyone...the rag “new york times “ is no longer credible as along with the majority of the print and broadcast media. All you need to read is that the fed/government hacks on the intel(funny but that’s what they label themselves)are NOT investigating general Flynn....that sums up everything...The scumbag rinos and dems are getting very nervous because the gravy train is over and lotsa thieving bitches and bastards throughout our entirely bloated federal system are going to be purged or arrested over the next 4-8 years...so lets enjoy the squirming ...and while your at it call the offices of the rinos and democrats and piss them off ..TELL them how much you despise and loathe and berate the punk female or male staffer sucking 50 k a year or more answering a god damned phone...and enjoy insurance far superior to what we the unwashed have...also NEVER EVER forget THEY WORK FOR US...treat them like the dregs that they are...its a nice way to vent and you will enjoy it after awhile...

Have they ever got around to reporting the deep penetration of our government by Muslim Brotherhood? Since 911 they have made large inroads into every security agency we have.

Have they reported on the levels of influence by Saudi and Chinese money?

Have they reported on the levels of influence bought by Russian and Ukrainian money? I seem to recall a lot of money sloshing around, but most of it flowing into the pockets of Democrats.

Just replay the hot mic video of Obama saying “wait till after the election” to the Russians, they give these people the bird and move in to the next topic.

The Trump campaign also held huge rallies around the country where they regularly came into contact with “white” people.
