I believe the vaccines sometimes trigger an already existing condition, but are not the cause. They can trigger some kids, but not others. I believe there are other triggers as well: drugs, plastics, and EM fields near developing brain tissue seem to be reasonable things to investigate.

The ones I know do not use drugs!

I have a 20 year daughter with a brain injury, and we live in the Silicon Valley.

The parents are now in their late 50s, and fairly conservative.

A lot of the parents are both techies, and we’ve wondered if there is something to that. This area has lots of techies marrying each other (I’m one of them).

Most of my friends think there is something going on genetically.

Vaccines may not start it, but also may not help it.

More Techies = more and earlier screentime for junior?

Women are waiting much later in life to get married and have children sometimes in their forties. Women only have one set of eggs. So the ones that are left before menopause could very well be too old and damaged.

I take a different approach than most as 40% of the population have the 677 and 1298 MTHFR anomaly.

The 40% you cite have one defective MTHFR copy while autistic kids (the 98% I spoke of) have defects on both the 677 and the 1298 copy. As I said, knowing what I do now, my grandson would have been screened for these defective copies (I'd guess it's a $200 dollar blood test) and with a positive result all vaccines would have been refused. Incidentally, 2 years after his one year MMR, his titers were hundreds of times over the normal limits which indicates an under performing methylation cycle.

DJT is doing families like mine a tremendous service. And the video that Robert Kennedy Jr did related to vaccines is wonderful. God bless them both.

I feel the same way. And his family gets slammed, too. I hope he doesn’t get discouraged, which I think is their aim.

The claim that the mercury based preservative in a vaccine causes autism was made in a single paper published in the British medical journal The Lancet. The 1998 study was based on 12 children conducted using unethical methods. The paper has been completely withdrawn.

The lead author Andrew Wakefield was found to have committed fraud and his license to practice medicine was revoked.

The alternative - outbreaks of measles mumps and rubella - are KNOWN to be deadly.

“which indicates an under performing methylation cycle.”

You might enjoy reading Randy Jirtle’s research on methylation at Duke University back in 2003 using Agouti mice. Using nutrition he increased methylation and suppressed transcription of abnormal DNA and the suppression carried to the offspring.

My perspective on the issue which coincides with your observations:

I think a significant portion of the population has become seriously vitamin D3 deficient due to the relatively recent advice (the 1980’s) from the medical community to avoid direct sun. Mothers, and particularly pregnant women, are especially susceptible to that advice.

A maternal D3 deficiency will be passed onto the child and will persist if the child is kept out of direct sunlight. This is relatively new. People used to love the sun, and aggressively seek it, even to the point of wanting to get a good tan. No longer. I would guess that techies, especially, end up not getting the sunlight they need to generate sufficient D3 stores (unless they’re sun seekers also.)

But a D3 deficiency impacts the immune system. Genetically, some people are predisposed to the autism spectrum which I consider to run from ADHD, to dyslexia, to Asperger’s to autism. Then, if you take a person genetically predisposed to the spectrum (look at the siblings, parents, grandparents, uncles and aunts for clues), and adopt a lifestyle that results in a vitamin D3 deficiency, the potential is there to develop autism.

Given that vaccines affect the immune system, it’s certainly possible that a significant dosage could trigger the genetic condition that’s been prepped by the D3 deficiency. And that comports with the many parents who swear that their child’s behavior changed dramatically almost immediately following a vaccination.

You might ask why the D3 component. It explains the increase in incidence beginning in the late 1980’s and continuing. Furthermore, I have read of cases where autism symptoms have been reduced significantly by the administration of large doses of D3. Unfortunately, this isn’t true across the board, or it would have become common knowledge by now.

I saw that article before I asked for a link. It’s not a study, nor does the author link to a study. The reason I asked is because the 98% number sounds a little too much like something someone would say based on shaky information.

And I’m not saying it’s not a factor, by the way. I’d just be surprised if a good study underlaid that 98% number. Maybe it does though.

D3 deficiency

Yes, normally it's the first thing that's corrected.

Google “Sharyl Attkisson and vaccines” and you’ll find that you’re wrong when you claim the vaccine/autism link is based on a single study. Ms. Attkisson is a well-respected reporter and has assembled a list of studies, most of which do indicate a linkage.

And don’t misunderstand, most of the people arguing this side of the matter in here are saying that vaccinations need to be given with more care, i.e., that a one-size-fits-all approach is causing damage to a small percentage of kids. If that damage can be avoided, we should take steps to do so.

You’ll find that 98% number in scholarly studies, I’ve read more than a few, but the takeaway is simple; these kids aren’t eliminating toxins like kids without the mutations. If I had it to do over a simple blood test would be my guide to a vaccination schedule. It’s sad so many parents are learning the hard way.

If that’s true, it’s a relatively recent development, since the theory linking D3 and autism was only proposed about 10-15 years ago and wasn’t considered likely at the time.

Are you saying the medical community, upon finding autism/Asperger’s symptoms in a child, now suspect a D3 deficiency and seek to remedy it immediately? That would really surprise me, frankly.

And if so, what level of D3 do they shoot for?

I suspect you’ll find that 98% number in just one study, not several, unless they’re just citing the first study that is.

I’m not taking issue with the effect you’re discussing, by the way. In fact, I’m wondering if it could tie in with a D3 deficiency, particularly since you also said that’s the first thing they address.

From the circle of ppl I’m involved with, nearly every child was deficient in D3. A lack of b12 was the next biggest offender. Methyl b12 injections are part of the regime we follow. These, along with diet restrictions, have been very helpful and are giving us hope. But I dare not tell this to the formal medical establishment. Their answer to autism is occupational therapy and a shrug.

From my link-

“A widely cited 2004 statistical review of existing studies by nonprofit health-information provider the Institute of Medicine, which traced the vaccine theory back to the Lancet study, concluded there was no causal link between the MMR vaccine and autism.”

These people are like the Global Warming crowd. They make their living by insisting that everyone else prove a negative. Which can’t be done so they carry on making themselves important.
