Democrats demand that Flynn’s resignation spur broader Russia investigation
Democrats hold no levers of power in Washington, but they have pulled out their megaphones to demand that Mr. Flynn’s resignation open the first chapter — not the last — of investigations into contacts between Trump aides and Moscow — during and after Mr. Trump’s campaign for president.
“Nothing about this resignation, or resignations that could occur in the future, precludes the Senate Intelligence Committee from continuing to investigate Gen. Flynn, or any other campaign official who may have had inappropriate and improper contacts with Russian officials prior to the election,” said Senator Mark Warner of Virginia, the ranking Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee. “It is clear that our task is more urgent than ever.”

Not only should Flynn NOT resign, but President Trump should do a clean sweep of the WH staff, and shitcan everyone who he doesn’t even remotely trust.

Yes. My sense of a “social contract” is that differing groups within society agree to work together in some manner. That’s the deal.

Flynn told Spicer there was one call. Flynn is no longer credible. At least two Intel Agencies were listening to the Russian Ambassador’s phone and no doubt recording. This is not fight worth fighting. The odds are there was more than one call and that topics did involve things outside Flynn’s authority. The best thing for POTUS is for this to die. We know Flynn lied to the VPOTUS. He needs to fade into the sunset.

I don’t believe the charge would be conspiracy unless they were conspiring to keep it from POTUS or they were conspiring to award Flynn. Any speculation is just that. However, the reports are that Flynn was in a position to be blackmailed. That’s obviously serious if true. He’s gone, and that’s for the best. He did not serve the president well.
Let’s hope that Trump and company choose to go on offense. If the Democrats want to emphasize investigations, grant them their wish. All things Clinton, Obama, and the like are now going to get a very close look. He needs to ramp up the pressure and quick.

Yes, we were divided when Obama was president, but I think these guys plan on ramping it up a hundred fold. And here is the bad part: Even as much as the right was fighting obama, many were talking about it leading to Civil War.
