Democrats demand that Flynns resignation spur broader Russia investigation
Democrats hold no levers of power in Washington, but they have pulled out their megaphones to demand that Mr. Flynns resignation open the first chapter not the last of investigations into contacts between Trump aides and Moscow during and after Mr. Trumps campaign for president.
Nothing about this resignation, or resignations that could occur in the future, precludes the Senate Intelligence Committee from continuing to investigate Gen. Flynn, or any other campaign official who may have had inappropriate and improper contacts with Russian officials prior to the election, said Senator Mark Warner of Virginia, the ranking Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee. It is clear that our task is more urgent than ever.

I know. Maybe it could have been a day or two sooner, but it could also be said to have been nipped in the bud.
No, this is the beginning of a Constant drumbeat aiming at forcing trump out of office! And I’m afraid the scalp they got last night emboldened them to a vile height never seen before from the mediapukes and sad to say our RINOS too!
Since everyone here is in panic mode and it’s starting to rub off on me, remind me that impeachment is absurd and will not happen please.
Today a sadness washed over me. Trump is really our only hope..and I am not sure he can do it with so much power against him. If he doesn’t drain this swamp it will never get done.
I wouldn’t blame Trump whatsoever if he said Screw all of you...I am leaving. Of course, he won’t do that. But God Help Him.
Flynn’s resignation gave the establishment a win and only emboldens them for more Trump cabinet member’s blood. One by one the democrat/DC establishment will pick off Trump’s cabinet members until they can get to Trump..
Even though I agree that they’re after Trump and his staff, the staff must remain honest and loyal. That’s fundamental. Good riddance to him.
‘What Did the President Know and When Did He Know It?’
Ha! Ha!
Ask Valerie Jarrett! Isn’t SHE the epitome of illicit and clandestine political sources ?
Good afternoon.
Impeachment is not going to happen. And president Trump is not going to resign.
Gird your loins, and be prepared to push back. This is what draining the swamp looks like.
Enjoy the winning. There is more to come.

just how would a conversation between Flynn and Russian ambassador be a crime?
“this is the beginning of a Constant drumbeat aiming at forcing trump out of office”
LOL. Trump fired Flynn because he is a liar. The democrats had nothing to do with it. Flynn won’t be missed.
EVERY True Conservative politician needs to get in front of EVERY camera they can find and highlight the al quaeda operatives that were operating in our government and cauused the death and injury to US warriors AND who were allowed to operate under the watchful eye of obama.
That needs to be the news
Sorry, NO crime and NO coverup-. Flynn lied to Pence and Trump cannot have that in his circle of advisors.
You are correct. Trump is our “last best hope.” The enemy knows this, and that is why they will stop at nothing - and I do mean NOTHING - to attempt to destroy him.
Pray for America.
I say if the dems want to consume themselves with chasing their hairy little tails on something that has no basis other than a government official misled the VP after speaking to a foreign government.. let them. Whatever keeps their salt grain-sized brains busy.
Not knowing what was said, I don’t know if the conversation was a crime. But conversations can be crimes if there is a conspiracy, which I certainly doubt. Some have suggested the Logan Act applies, but I doubt that that was something that would have been pursued. Flynn’s gone because he lied to Vice President Pence. That was disloyal to Trump, and it has distracted from the President’s agenda. Now, like a good soldier he should go and get out of the lime light.
Doesn’t matter anyway.Trump wasn’t POTUS when this call was made!
I agree. Now, move on to what matters.
I understand the concept, but in this case, what happened is pretty clear. We’re talking about a single phone call, which was communicated to the VICE PRESIDENT, and then the guy who was on the call admits that he didn’t tell the vice president everything that was discussed on the call. Because of that, the guy resigned.
So, where does the president enter into this discussion? Do they want to investigate if the president was secretly talking with him outside of his conversation with the Vice president?
They are bing rather silly, but this does correspond to Alinsky’s rules/tactics about never letting up.
