LEADVILLE, Colo. Warnings went out to students of the small Colorado Mountain College campus in Leadville on Monday warning of an active threat.

Ski Cooper is wonderful. 10th mountain division trained in that area.

In the late sixties we had bomb threats at the community college I attended every midterms/finals season. It lasted an hour or so and then tests resumed. Back then......before 9/11,.....it was an acknowledged as a common ploy to avoid tests.

Lots of fresh snow there this year. We had multiple runs to our selves, most of the skiers there don’t get off the main run back down to the lift.
We still enjoy it, and the price is right.
