Yes, often large dogs get hip dysplasia. We’ve always been careful with both dogs not to have them jump - hard on their hips, unlike with some little dogs. My sis’ dog is 12 now and is a bit slower going up and down the stairs. They give him glucosamine every day and have done so for quite some time. He has allergies, so gets 6 Benadryl per day. When he was first diagnosed, the vet prescribed some dog med that was rather pricey, so my sis asked how it differed from Benadryl and the vet said it really didn’t. So sis says why can’t I just get the big bottle of Benadryl at Costco and that’s what she does. He also seems to be wheat intolerant so they buy the dog food at Costco (it’s either salmon & rice or lamb & rice - pure, I forget which). He’s on another med - she’s always had all of his meds filled at the Costco pharmacy - much cheaper than buying through the vet’s office.

Good article - thanks LG! They were just saying on F&F that Clinton’s presidency got off to a rocky start, too and he eventually righted the boat. If the Dims in the Senate would quit stonewalling so that Trump could have a full cabinet, it might be easier. There are still thousands of jobs to be filled and at least of those need Senate confirmation.
