Rumor the German Shepherd wins Best of Show at Westminster.
GS haven’t won since 1989.

I was thrilled to hear the GS won! Saw Janice Dean’s little vid of her at the Dog Show, including Rumour trotting out - beautiful dog! He’s supposed to be on F&F a little later - can’t wait. His coloring looks more like Rin Tin Tin - my sister’s GS have been primarily black with tan. The one she has now is purebred and a real sweet dog. He’s getting older so I hope he stays healthy for a while - they are very careful about what they feed him, etc.
No problem Nikk. I just wasn’t making my thoughts clear. Imagine that?? Hahaha.
Weather here is calm , but more *s* later is predicted.

Rumor truly is a beautiful dog, loved it when she stood up and licked her owner.
This is only the 2nd time a GS has won.
Rumor almost won last year and her owner nearly didn’t show her this year but bread her but fate had her back and she didn’t conceive so......

Unfortunately, being a large breed brings with it special problems.
Our dogs never had hip problems but our male had a very unusual heart problem that cut short his life.
Did you hear Brian talk about his GS?
He told a friend to go ahead into the house, didn’t tell his dog first, didn’t say exactly what happened but I can imagine as GS are very protective.
On another note, Michelle Malkins take on Flynn leaving and what went on the 1st 100 days of Obummer’s administration, reminds us of how rocky things were for the O, some ammunition to share with our lib friends.
