President Trump adviser Roger Stone tweeted Tuesday that the "purge" of former national security advisor Michael Flynn is "Pearl Harbor" for Trump loyalists.
Stone blamed White House chief of staff Reince Priebus for Flynn's resignation after just 24 days on the job.
"Reince's purge of Flynn a 'Pearl Harbor' for Trump loyalists. Hope the midget is ready to rumble," wrote Stone.
Stone's tweet comes as Breitbart News, the populist right-wing website once led by President Trump’s chief strategist, Stephen Bannon, published a scathing report on Tuesday stating that Priebus was responsible for the administration's rocky start while speculating that his future in the administration may also be short.
Trump named retired Army Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg as acting national security adviser following Flynn's resignation. Kellogg previously served as Flynn’s chief of staff on the National Security Council.
I’m disturbed by this whole affair but Priebus couldn’t force Flynn out, Trump is his own man. It was his decision.
There have to be other issues because what I’ve seen in the press doesn’t convince me.
I definitely believe they should be head-hunting the leakers. If he doesn’t get them, they will get him.
Priebus will maybe be leaving to manage Mitt Romney’s Senate run.
It’s gonna be OK. Maybe Conway will get his job and Miller will take hers.
I thought Trump got rid of Flynn.
My guess is that Priebus wasn’t the main mover on this by any means, but Stone hates him so that’s the story he’s going with.

Conway is the next scalp they want. Already got Flynn, and the idea that he told some big lie to Pence is an exaggeration.

Yes, This is why Trump needs to stay away from Patraeus. The MSM would be licking their chops if Patraeus got appointed to take Flynn’s place.
