The 2016 GOP presidential campaigns agreed on Sunday evening to cut the Republican National Committee (RNC) out of the debate negotiation process and instead deal directly with networks moderating debates, Breitbart News has learned. Corey Lewandowski, the campaign manager for frontrunner Donald Trump, confirmed to Breitbart News via phone on Sunday that the “biggest consensus” of five separate points the GOP campaigns agreed on was cutting the RNC out of the negotiations with the networks, as the campaigns would each like to negotiate with the networks directly. A few days after the CNBC presidential debate -- which the GOP campaigns called "horrendous," "stupid," and "ridiculous" -- the Republican National Committee has decided to suspend its plans to let NBC News host a debate on February 26.... Priebus also noted that the "moderators engaged in a series of 'gotcha' questions, petty and mean-spirited in tone, and designed to embarrass our candidates. What took place Wednesday night was not an attempt to give the American people a greater understanding of our candidates' policies and ideas." The Republican National Committee began running ads in 40 media markets Tuesday mostly targeting incumbent senators who supported President Barack Obamas health care program. Billionaire former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, meanwhile, gave $2.5 million to help Democrats defend their majority in the Senate. The early action suggests Republicans see the presidents signature domestic achievement as their way to keep control of the House and perhaps win the Senate. With more than 300 days remaining before Election Day, both sides are looking to set the agenda before voters start paying attention. Obamacare is going to be the issue in 2014,...

Leaders of the Republican establishment, alarmed by the emergence of far-right and often unpredictable Tea Party candidates, are pushing their party to rethink how it chooses nominees and advocating changes they say would result in the selection of less extreme contenders. The push comes as the national Republican Party is grappling with vexing divisions over its identity and image, and mainstream leaders complain that more ideologically-driven conservatives are damaging the party with tactics like the government shutdown. The debate intensified on Wednesday after Kenneth T. Cuccinelli II, the deeply conservative Republican candidate for governor of Virginia, lost a close race...

I join a massive number of republican-voting citizens who have had it with the likes of you all, from Reince Priebus on down. You say you represent the party of small government and pro-family values. You act anything but. We are sick and tired of the partys move to the left and to your empty promises of support for the partys planks. We have tried to stay on, especially since the election of more democrats is killing our country, its culture, morality, and its economy. The democrat party is the anti-America Marxist party and you all seem to like their...

<p>Both Reince Priebus and Mark Levin were on WMAL Tuesdaybut not at the same time. RNC Chair Reince Priebus was asked to respond to comments Mark Levin has made that theyve done next to nothing to support Cuccinelli in the VA. Gov. race. Priebus basically said that the RNC has spent 3 million on their ground game in VA which doesnt just help Cuccinelli, but also other candidates on the Republican ticket.</p>
  • Republican Rep. Sensenbrenner: Re-Impose the Full Power of the 1965 Voting Rights Act

PJ Media has engaged in a long-running series of articles regarding Republicans who are trying to re-impose the 1965 Voting Rights Act, which was partially struck down by the US Supreme Court this summer. We reported that staff within the Republican National Committee are working to re-impose it, outside the public eye. The RNC officially and vehemently denied. But. Weve also tracked the statements of elected Republicans including Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner, and the activities of their lobbyists and staffs. Sensenbrenner is under the influence of a long-time former staffer who is currently lobbying for the far-left ACLU. Juan Williams, Democrat...

50 years ago today, Dr. Martin Luther King stood on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial before a crowd of hundreds of thousands and declared 1963 is not an end, but a beginning. Though a half century has passed, the power of Dr. Kings words has only grown stronger. As we commemorate the anniversary of the March on Washington we dont look just to the past; we look to the future. An anniversary like this isnt just a call to remembrance. Its a call to action. We must seize the basic promise of Americas founding: that all are created equal....

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus had a message last week for outspoken conservatives who support strict immigration enforcement policies: Shut up. Yes, the head of the RNC is more concerned about protecting the party’s Hispanic vote-pandering campaign than protecting law-abiding citizens from the devastating consequences of illegal immigration. At the RNC’s annual summer meeting in Boston, Priebus complained that openly advocating self-deportation policies during last year’s election season was “horrific” and that rule-of-law rhetoric “hurts us.” Yes, really. So is it OK to discuss during off-year election cycles? Leap years? Weekends? Holidays? Can the GOP sensitivity police let us in...
  • A reply to Reince Priebus for money

Dear Mr. Priebus, I just received a request for a donation. I will not be giving any money to the GOP on any federal level until two things happen. 1) Any immigration bill dies in congress this year. I don't trust the party to dangle out enforcement and border security in an amnesty deal. I don't trust the GOP to work anything out. Amnesty will kill the conservative movement, if not the GOP and I am sick of my voice not being heard. So don't waste the paper and postage mailing me unless congress passes an enforcement/border security only law....

<p>BOSTON In condemning Rep. Steve King's incendiary comments on immigration, RNC chairman Reince Priebus swept in his party's presidential nominee, saying that talk of "self-deportation" was "horrific" and even "racist."</p> <p>"Using the word 'self-deportation' it's a horrific comment to make," Priebus said, in a forceful rebuke. "I don't think it has anything to do with our party. When someone makes those comments, obviously, it's racist."</p>
