They should ask South Carolina how that went after 1861.

Maybe “Jefferson California” can remain as “California” and everything south of Oakland will just be Ceded to Mexico and the idiots there can negotiate with Mexico Nationhood....

That way we keep 50 stars on the flag, 50 states, gain a conservative state, and get tp punish all of hollyweird and silicone valley by having them governed by the 3rd world country they SAY they love to damned much...

That would be an epic win. We will take the eastern part of the state. Oregon and WA state should join them.

It is ironic that California is the modern South Carolina. Is SanDiego the equivalent to Fort Sumter?

The precedent has already been firmly established for how the federal government responds to any state voting to leave: Sic the U.S. Army on them and coerce them to stay.

Sorry, California, but...

We don’t need California. They need us. However, the new Republik of Kalifornia could provide a Pacific coast launch point for a foreign invasion force (not just those south of the border) that would be necessary for land forces to attack the USA. Countries, such as China and the Norks, that lust over the land and natural resources of the USA.

California’s progressivism is in a fever - which is signs it is very sick.

The Federal Government owns 45% of all the land in California. I doubt that the Feds would gift this to the Golden State.

The South was right.

And indeed, secession is a right and state’s rights are important.

I would be all too glad for California to leave. Wonder if my brother would stay.

So 40 percent of Californians supported Trump. Begs the question, how many voted fraudulently in CA? ☺

The lone similarity between California today and the Confederacy is secession. VDH’s knowledge of what drove secession in 1860 is pretty weak if he thinks it had anything in common with what is going on here now in Crazy America.

New England threatened secession twice. VDH might as well make that comparison while he’s at it.

With a new administration in place, one of the things I hope they investigate is to what extent there are connections between the Mexican government and the illegal community in California and California government processes.

The MSM/Left blew the email leaks that showed that the DNC screwed over Bernie and that Hillary cheated at the debates into a big “foreign government interfering in the US” narrative.

So what about the Mexican government? Are they interfering in the US?

Wikileaks needs to focus and obtain hacked data from CA state government. These sellout criminals have lots to hide.

Do it Julian!

If CA turns the entire state into an ultra-liberal enclave, inviting unvetted millions from Mexico and around the world, the conservatives who are left, and believe it or not there are millions, are likely to leave the state. It will soon become another state of Mexico. The name Mexifornia will be fitting.

In fact, Trump should put out *big* cash rewards for people in CA to come forward with information leading to arrests and convictions of CA government officials.

Start it at $1,000,000
