There's debate over the overtly androgynous representations of Akhenaten. Were they unusually accurate or was his "feminine side" purposefully emphasized? The royal practice of marriage between siblings, reenacting the legend of Isis and Osiris, produced imbeciles and grossly deformed pharaohs. So it's theoretically possible Akhenaten was some sort of genetic freak. His remains are probably those found in tomb KV55. If they are DNA comparison confirms he was the biologic father of Tutankhamun (whose remains also show signs of genetic deformities) and so he did at least have the basic male working parts, even if they're not on display on that statue.

The statue that has breasts.  Breasts, and feminine features that Akhenaten's cult went out of their way to depict - in every idolatrous, "in your face", depection of their revolutionary god-emperor.

XXY? Androgen Insensitivity? Hemaphroditism? Some other inbred defect he/she/it and the royal fem-cult wanted to propagate?

Observe how bees figure into Egyptian mythology. The social structure of the hive is ALL female - with the exception of male drones whose usefulness fatally expires immediately after mating.

Observe the ~multiple~ historical instances of male infanticide associated with the caste of theocratic perverts.

Yeah, the realigned timeline raises a lot of “cultural” questions that are relevant today.

There is nothing new under the Aten(s)!

An archeology professor of mine, told our class how they found an Egyptian casket buried in Israel (the Pharaohs, did occasionally, control parts of Judea) with 2 male mummies in it. The hieroglyphs with it indicated that they were a couple, and were hair-dressers.

SOME THINGS NEVER CHANGE!
