Getting dumped by Nordstrom, which helped Ivanka launch her brand in 2011, bodes even worse for the first daughters business. This isnt a singular designer making a personal political statement, its a commercial giant slowly backing away from a name it thinks might be bad for business. Neiman Marcus followed suit Friday when it pulled Ivanka Trumps jewelry collection. Whether those actions are the result of a real lag in sales or are publicity-based decisions, if two major retailers are dropping her brand, othersincluding Bloomingdales, Lord & Taylor, Macys, Zappos, and Amazonnow have precedent to follow. And even if Nordstrom says dropping Ivanka was a performance-based decision, the company hasnt been entirely apolitical, judging by a pro-immigration memo the companys executives sent to their employees last week.

She has a place in her father’s administration and a business based on her name. How is she going to separate the two?
Mr. niteowl77
She can have a website up and running in no time. I hope she cuts out the retailers and I’ll but for my wife and daughter directly.
The Trump family has sacrificed so much for so many ingrates. Prayers for their safety.
Yep, D-T-C, just like her father with the press.
She isn’t the first and won’t be the last that is willing to sacrifice for America.
This is what liberals do....DESTROY YOU!!! Ivanka is the left’s FRIEND and they STILL want to DESTROY her because of her dad!! They are EVIL and VILE!
Lives, fortunes, and sacred honor...
The Trump family is walking the walk.
God bless them.
We Mutually Pledge To Each Other Our Lives, Our Fortunes And Our Sacred Honor
Altogether seventeen of the signers suffered extreme, and in some cases total, property losses. One in nine of them lost his life. But not one man of the fiftysix lost his sacred honor. Throughout the long ordeal of an often-floundering war, in a cause that at times seemed hopelessly lost, there was not among the fifty-six men a single defectiondespite the reservations that some had had about independence at the beginning and despite the repeated sagging of popular support for the war.

Poor girl she will have to survive on Ramen noodles now.
1) call MACYS NEIMAN’S NORDSTROMS local and Corp stores to let them know you are cutting up your cards and never shopping there again.
1a) not a shopper at these stores? CALL ANYWAY!! Toss any gift cards you might have and tell them. Deliver the message!
2) buy your next outfits from Ivanka on Amazon.com.
We need to stand up to this crap.
Finnally.... BUY UNDER ARMOUR!!!
” Nordstrom’s , for instance, should be targeted”
What I have noticed about the businesses who have unmasked themselves as insanely liberal and “social active” is, I already did no business with them at all. The exception was 84 lumber which took me by surprise.
I am wondering if there is a flavor of socialism or something that just turns me off about liberal run enterprises which is not obvious until they “come out.” Or, perhaps it’s me. I have no interest in fashion or being fashionable and, let’s face it, no cup of coffee is worth $5. (I especially don’t like limp-wristed man-bun wearing wimps serving it.)
Shows how shallow and ignorant the left is. They must not be allowed to prevail
Maybe she is best off only having one at a time.
Anyone who has tried to work in construction and millwork knows that 84 undercuts their competitor pricing to contractors so much that it makes the rest of the industry wonder how 84 survives.
I’d boycott Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus except I can’t afford them.
Didn’t Macy’s teach these tirds a lesson?
Nordstrom is already struggling, and they are making many marketing missteps in support of liberalism. They seem to think that the whole world thinks like Seattle, where their corporate offices are based.
They are going to bleed badly.
BTW, I used to work in IT there and my daughter currently works there. The CIO that exited a few years ago was a personal friend.
That's not the point. She's wealthy and doesn't need the business, but this is about how the Left politicizes everything. The remake behavior and society's mores through rewards and punishment. Conservatives don't behave that way, at least not yet. Nordstroms' needs to be left as a smoking economic hole in the ground as an object lesson.
