OUCHOUCHOUCHOUCH!! Hurts to even think about! I hope this does the trick so she doesn’t have to go back for another surgery.
The shopping doesn’t hurt my back all that much. It’s just that if it feels decent, I don’t dread it much. If it’s hurting a lot, shopping’s a real drag. It’s feeling pretty good now so tomorrow shouldn’t be a problem
How are your DIL and the girls getting along these days? Are they tired of the snow yet? LOL I saw it snowing this afternoon but now it looks like it’s warmed up a bit. The streets are wet, not frozen tonight.
They seem to be adapting well. My DIL has lived all over the nation, so she’s used to moving around and the girls got new warmer gloves and boots so they are enjoying trying them out! My son said that Piper went out yesterday and stayed for hours, playing by herself...no friends there yet, and building a snow slide in the snow piled up by the plows. She’s clever!
They have a really nice library there and they spend time there. Piper does her school lessons and Callie does...what Callie does. LOL!
I’m glad your back is feeling better tonight. Nothing can get your attention quicker than back pain! Hope it continues so you don’t have to cut your trip short. Did y’all get any bad weather out of that system that slammed New Orleans?
Glad they seem to be adapting. That’s a big change, especially for the girls. It’s one thing when it snows, then melts, then snows again a little later ....
It just KEEPS snowing there. BRRRRR!
But it sounds like they’re making the best of it all and having a good time.
We had a few thunderstorms move through while I slept today. Hubby said one was zapping lightning RIGHT HERE and I didn’t hear a thing. LOL!
We did get almost an inch of rain today and that’s the important thing. Got .4 an inch yesterday and will probably get a little more tomorrow. Nice start to the month.
Wow! That’s awesome that you got that much rain! The corn crop will love it! I can’t believe you missed a good lightning storm though! LOL!
There is so much snow there that they have to get front end loaders and dump trucks to get it off the streets so cars can park. It’s something else...and I’m sure our northern friends understand perfectly! :)

It’s a good start to getting the water table back up. It’ll be good to get it back where it needs to be before the spring planting begins. We’re still a little behind after last year being so dry.
Yeah, I’m kinda ticked I missed the storm that hit here. Sometimes sleeping the “vampire sleep” is a drag. LOL
I’ve never had the cam up when they’ve cleared the streets but it’s been obvious they use something pretty big to pile the snow up like that. They do a good job and the vehicles don’t seem to have any problems getting around.
