This overlooks the advent of the internet age, i.e. "the hive mind". Everything is just so mercurial now, and it is quite frightening to be honest. But let us march on! The earth is still beneath our feet.

This isn't just about rioting. Do you think The California legislature will back down? That the dem states won't oppose and interfere at everything. It doesn't take shots to start a rebellion.

You'll see nullification expressed at many institutions including the judiciary.
The feds don't have the manpower to combat this.

And given the visceral hatred and rejection by the left it isn't going to settle down.

It doesn't take but a small dedicated percentage to gum up the works in a democracy.
