A chief executive makes executive orders - I think that’s tautological. Whether you call it an order, or an action, or a memo it all amounts to the same thing; the only way to squelch that would be to remove the executive branch entirely, and have Congress decide everything directly.

Please cite any instance of a Trump EO that amounts to "making law". Each of them, at least that I've seen, specifically states the law on which it's based.

Try actually reading an executive order before saying such a stupid thing. Trump did no such thing as "making law".

The Executive Branch making law is the issue. A big difference when an EO is issued to carry out current law unlike what Obama did with EOs. Wise up. Are you at all concerned with the Alphabet orgs that issue regulations that have exactly the effect of law with out any discussion by Congress?
