The change followed a weeks long boycott campaign, organized by Trump activist group called, "GRAB YOUR WALLET". The group demanded the department store giant cease doing business with the president or his family. Shannon Coulter, who runs GRAB YOUR WALLET, celebrated Nordstrom's decision as a milestone the campaign.
Macy’s is closing one of the local stores here in Oregon.
Damn it! I can’t boycott a place I never shopped. I know, I’ll buy something and return it. Might get to be a hobby.
Never shop there. Why pay $250 for a sweater that sells for $40 at Penneys?

So much for the classic story of the ultimate in customer service, in which Nordstrom accepted the return of a set of tires, even though they didn’t sell tires, because that’s what the customer wanted.
Whether it’s BS or not, politicizing your product offerings is no way to maximize business results. Of course I can’t remember setting foot in a Nordstroms store nor do I intend to, so what do I know?

I stopped buying at Macy’s when they did that to DJT. I don’t shop at Nordstrom but my daughter does as she works in the city. She will no longer shop there.
There are probably 10 people in the “grab your wallet” campaign. There will now be hundreds of thousands of Trump supporters they lost in exchange for 10 people who probably never shopped there. Good job.
I am a very loyal Nordstrom’s customer. Almost every single piece of clothing and shoes I have came from there. Handbags, jewelry, you name it have all came from Nordstrom’s.
Their website is so busy I can’t get on to email or chat.

I have not bought at Nordstrom’s since I stopped needing to wear suits at work, about 20 years ago.
The timing is very convenient for me. Almost all my clothes come from LLBean. :-)
Well, my daughter still works there and probably will for a LONG time. She also fits in pretty well. :(

IF it is fake news from WAPO, then Nordstrom needs to address them and demand a retraction, but I don’t think it is fake news.
They also have great men’s dress shirts with a return policy that is very generous.
