Actress Sarah Silverman called for a military coup against President Trump on Wednesday night in the midst of violent riots in Berkeley, California.
In a screaming all-capital-letters tweet exhorted her almost 10 million followers to “wake up & join the resistance,” a term from World War II that anti-Trump rioters have used to define themselves.
She then outlined her preferred scenario for the violent overthrow of the legitimately elected government, still in all capital letters.

There was a skit on the Jimmy Kimmel involving both that was pretty raunchy but funny nonetheless. Those that have seen it know what I'm talking about...lol
Very true. - I’m in the South. During the War of Northern
Aggression, my kin were Confederate soldiers. Did not have
slaves, but the aggressors were DOWN HERE. The Civil War
was long & thousands on both sides died. It was not funny.
My folks didn’t worship Abraham Lincoln & thought he did not
have to go as far as he did. Slavery was on the way out for
lots of reasons. For one thing, most of us couldn’t afford
to keep slaves and modern innovations were on the way in.
The Union would have had to pull together against the world
powers that were seeking to enslave US anyway - both black
& white & the red code talkers of WWII. We needed each other
to survive.
There are things that could derail it beyond Trump’s control but yes it seems like we’re heading to a very good 4 years (eg: China collapsing financially could cause another global financial crisis)
Trump *is* the resistance to the establishment.
The left has defined victimhood as the ticket to all they desire, the magic state that renders them exempt from all moral codes and which allows them to do any violence that they desire.
So, the define themselves as “the resistance” when, in fact, they are the counter-revolution, those in power who want to crush the people.
Watch it nasty woman. I don’t want one single drop of military blood shed for the likes of you and your kind.
There are 60 plus million of us citizens locked and loaded.
Meditate on it.
Okay, here’s why these daily calls for violence are a cause for concern -
These people on the Left have been smelling their own gas for so long they are starting to believe they really are going to start a ‘Revolution.’
Some of them are antsy to see some real violence start because they want to see the Right respond to the Left’s violence with violence; That will prove the Left was right all along! “See? People on the Right are Nazis just like we said!” It’s a kind of self-fulfilling prophesy.
They are going to talk many young people into a bloody fight.
This is horrible for the country.
This is getting really dangerous.

I've never seen such anger either. It seems to me that it's the anger of truth threatening delusion. People will kill to protect their delusions. We see examples of this everyday in the news.
The only purpose I can see of the "Women's March" in Washington was to have a tantrum because Hillary lost and Trump won. Can you? Yet look at the venom and hatred, not to mention the vulgarity and obscenity. It seems that these people had a delusion about Hillary, that she would be elected, etc., and Trump, that he's somehow evil etc.--a delusion that has nothing to do with reality--but that when truth or reality dispelled it, they became violently psychotic. What do you think?
Reagan converted a lot of people to a conservative way of thinking. Trump may do the same. That is why the media is in panic mode. The more violence, the more hysteria, people will say enough is enough of opposition to save a party. The party may be destroyed for years to come.
That’s a really good point and spot on.
At first I thought it might be someone who supports President Trump.
However, I quickly realized that this couldn't be. A Trump supporter wouldn't refer to another one as a "p**** grabber" or "science hater." For one thing, neither Trump nor his supporters would consider themselves such or would admire anyone who did. To refer to me as an "American" suggests that the writer is not an American and does not consider himself an American. I don't know what the reference to minimum wage means.
And you are absolutely right. It's unlike people like us to stick scary notes on cars and slink away in the dark.

Exactly correct. The Establishment media has filled True Believers heads with numerous delusions. The delusions are significant false assumptions about the nature of reality.
Now the True Believers are facing a conflict between reality and their delusions.
Most people would rather die than change their basic assumptions about reality.
I have written before: If we are going to have a civil war, we want to be in charge of the Federal government when it happens.
I do not think it will go that far, but I expect numerous acts of violence on the part of these deluded True Believers, and a enforcement of the law.
It is long overdue.
Conservatives overwhelmingly have the police and military on their side. It is a fatal weakness of the left.
The left, under Obama, alienated both the military and police. President Obama should have been reading Machiavelli instead of Alynski.

No that was Sandra Bernhard in 2008 but that is an easy mistake to make. They seem similar in many ways.
