President Donald Trump surely realizes that most workers employed by the federal government diabolically oppose his views of America.
According to a new report, at least 180 of those employees "have signed up for a workshop featuring expert advice on workers rights and expressing civil disobedience." Also, dozens more federal workers have attended a support groups for discussing opposition to the Trump administration.
As President Trump settles into the White House, he will have to start examining ways to expedite his transition from the top down. His agenda is nothing more than words in the long term if the people working for him fail to carry out his promises.
Not showing up to work, taking extended vacations, filing worker's rights lawsuits, and obstructing the process in any way possible are just a few of the legal ways federal workers can bring President Trump's agenda to a halt.
From the CIA to the State Department, at some point, a mass overhaul of former employees from the Clinton, Bush and Obama eras has to happen. President Trump can sign as many executive orders as he wants, but it will mean nothing in the long run if the people who stood behind him during the campaign are not serving him as employees.
I read that there is something like 2.8M civilian Federal employees. So 1,000 or even 10,000 snowflakes would be round off and insignificant.
However, the size of government we need would be better served with less than half that number.
Trump won’t fire them. He will simply remove their jobs from the budget. Bye bye, snowflakes and leftscum.
Great to know that my taxes are funding these idiots. Try pulling these stunts in private industry. Goes to show these fed jobs are useless, make-work positions.
Apparently not. See: Veterans Administration. :-(
I think one legal way to deal with these employees is to transfer them to areas where they cannot do any damage.
Congress should make government work ‘right-to-work’, giving officials ability to fire disloyal, unproductive, and unwanted workers.
180 unnecessary jobs cut, money saved.
Of course the writer intended “diametrically,” but he instead committed a perfect Freudian slip. I’d like to think he caught it but, upon reflection, decided to let it stand. ;^)
Is this the same 180 employees that President Trump just Transferred to Puerto Rico??
They might as well send around a flyer that says, If you want to get fired, sign this form.
Trump will just do away with the offending agency/agencies, and create another with combined responsibilities. Who needs 17 intelligence agencies.
You don’t have to control every federal employee.
You only have to control the pay computer.
Then, the computer starts having glitches.
Turnabout is fair play.
If the employees complain, have them declared dangerous and removed from the facility.
Read “plunder” by Stephan Greenhut, exposes the union in gov.
I have a question. Wasn’t the ability of the federal employees to unionize done by an executive order? If so President MAGA could just as easily undo it. Thanks for your help.
A government employee that fires himself is like a dog kibble that makes its own sauce.
From government job to unemployment insurance. Trading one teat for another.
RICO....
Well that’s something.
Any way to break the unions for good?
If he slashes money for depts can’t you do layoffs?
I’m sure that if I read the book, my blood pressure would rise to unhealthy levels.
I caught that too but I like diabolically.
