Pelosi turned the podium over to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.), who spoke and held a small candle before Pelosi wanted to introduce and bring in some "real people."
"I want to introduce the real people," Pelosi said. "I'll do the real people now."
Pelosi spoke some more before mentioning two people who would tell "their courageous stories."
"Are they here?" Schumer asked as he looked around. "Where are they?"
After realizing that the two "real people" were not present, Pelosi and Schumer went to introduce Sen. Chris Murphy (D., Conn.). Murphy was not present either, however. Pelosi and Schumer then went to introduce Sen. Mazie Hirono (D., Hawaii), who did not appear to be at the podium at the time. She was present at the rally and spoke later, however, a spokesman in Hirono's office told the Washington Free Beacon.

As I read this article, my mind supplied the soundtrack: a car peeling out and immediately slamming into a brick wall.

I can’t believe that those people are actually part of a government that makes decisions to rule or govern over country.
If any intelligent aliens came down from space, and noticed people like Pelosi and Schumer running any part of the government, they’d head right back to where they came from after making note of the fact that, humans are still very primitive in their brain capacity. Or, they’d choose to take monkeys as the more capable and advanced between humans and monkeys, and report back to their planet as having encountered a very advanced civilization.

Like Winifred Skinner, the senior woman Al Gore highlighted in 2000 as being so poor she had to pick up soda cans and bottles on the side of the road to pay for her prescription drugs... until we found out that she rejected her son's offer to pay for the drugs but was fine with the taxpayer paying it for her.
Then there was little Graeme Frost, the 12-year-old that Democrats had give their Saturday radio address in 2007 in support of the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP), as someone who benefitted from it... until we found out that his father didn't buy health insurance because they were a rich trust fund family, they just remodeled their home, and they owned a commercial building that they rented out.
And don't forget about the "real people" who Democrats plant at town hall debates every election cycle, who are later discovered to be local state Democrat party operatives.

I hate myself when I grammar check authors but there are some things that peeve me like the lectern/podium thing - the other is when American authors use British sayings such as “he rang off” when setting the phone down or punching the off button on the cell - that’s what they do in the UK; in the US we ‘hang up’ ... just saying. But wait, there’s more .....LOL
These kind of people don’t worship any religion,they follow where the wind blows
