YES!!!!
Who will it be?
Ted Cruz?
Wonder which will cause more handwringing for the lefty media - muslim ban or SCOTUS pick?
Decisions, decisions.
I hope it is someone in the Scalia, Alito, Thomas mode.
Can't imagine who he would have picked as VP. Whoops...forgot about the one day gig.
And the MSM gets sidelined once again..Love it
OMG! The media is going to be exhausted. I wonder what hysterical accusations they’ll come up with.
This cracks me up. The boy king would have consulted with his advisors, spoke at length with his staff, and then hold a press conference to announce, all the time reading off a teleprompter.
Our president, the guy in charge, the adult in the room, simply gets up, brushes his teeth, and tweets to us on what’s on his mind, AND THE BEST THING HE BYPASSES THOSE MORONS IN THE MEDIA.
Trump has already said it would be a name from his list. Cruz isn’t there.
Rewards FOX news, as it’s a prime time announcement and they have the best ratings at that time slot.
Seems pretty clear that it is Gorsuch or Hardiman:

My guess is Gorsuch. Either is a great pick and from the list he said he’d pick from.
When he makes the SC appointment, he should follow it up by announcing he is closing down EPA, NEA, NPR, Ed, Commerce, and Energy, selling all VA facilities, firing and arresting Koskinen, and auditing the Fed.
Make the FakeNews media suck on all of that at once.
The Looney-Left is so busy protesting anything/everything Trump says or does right now, they’ll be foaming at the mouth and barking at the moon after this announcement.
And.....Trump moves on from border control to the next topic leaving the LSM confused about what to complain about all day today.
I have a prediction.
The liberals will react with outrage.
The msm is no longer the news...they are being exposed as incompetent messagers of news..they were always couching the real news into their world view ...now all they can do is whine after the news comes out. They are totally useless...
I love the way Trump builds up suspense. When he announces, it will knock the ‘immigration ban’ right off the front pages.
Rope-a-dope.
I have a prediction.
The liberals will react with outrage.

Wow. You must be clairvoyant or something.
I’m leaning Gorsuch after reading this article (dated Jan 23, 2017):
From Hot Air

Its worth your time to read SCOTUSblogs profile of him. In a sea of conservative jurists aspiring to be the next Scalia, Gorsuch may be the most Scalia-esque.
With perhaps one notable area of disagreement, Judge Gorsuchs prominent decisions bear the comparison out. For one thing, the great compliment that Gorsuchs legal writing is in a class with Scalias is deserved: Gorsuchs opinions are exceptionally clear and routinely entertaining; he is an unusual pleasure to read, and it is always plain exactly what he thinks and why. Like Scalia, Gorsuch also seems to have a set of judicial/ideological commitments apart from his personal policy preferences that drive his decision-making. He is an ardent textualist (like Scalia); he believes criminal laws should be clear and interpreted in favor of defendants even if that hurts government prosecutions (like Scalia); he is skeptical of efforts to purge religious expression from public spaces (like Scalia); he is highly dubious of legislative history (like Scalia); and he is less than enamored of the dormant commerce clause (like Scalia). In fact, some of the parallels can be downright eerie. For example, the reasoning in Gorsuchs 2008 concurrence in United States v. Hinckley, in which he argues that one possible reading of the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act would probably violate the rarely invoked non-delegation principle, is exactly the same as that of Scalias 2012 dissent in Reynolds v. United States.
Lots more at the link (plus a live link to SCOTUSBlog is there)
Unfortunately, creatures of habit continue to watch the news on ABC, NBC, CNN, CBS. Just as they continue to send their kids to public school. It’s what they’ve always done and they always will. It’s a least-effort thing.
