Sorry to hear this. Makes me wonder if a soft neck brace would help you.

The 2 inch size would probably steady your motion. It would also help support your head and comfort your neck when this vertigo appears. You don't need the extra effort of holding up your head along with trying to not move quickly. I have never had vertigo so my two cents probably might not be an educated guess but perhaps worth trying. I have poor bones and a long neck.
