Couldn't happen to a better channel. I'm loving the chaos. We'll see how it goes without Bret there to help the poor girl. It'll be interesting. She was the Shiny Gem at Fox and it doesn't seem she'll be so shiny at NBC. She moved quickly from the starting gate. Is it just me or do you think people in the NBC business will also question who's assisting her moves up?

I can see why their orders would be to only step in if there is harm to a person. Things can be replaced, people can’t, as the saying goes.

It makes total sense now, but at the time I was 18 years old and couldn't understand it at all. They could have only brought it under control with tear gas or pepper spray. Then everyone would freak out about that.

What homeschool curriculum did you use?

We used a combination of things over the years as I learned to refine and personalize. We did unit studies for the first few years (Five-in-a-Row, Learning Adventures), Horizons Math in the primary grades, some Alpha Omega and Switched-on Schoolhouse subjects, some Sonlight literature, VideoText Algebra and Geometry, Apologia sciences, Institute for Excellence in Writing... I'm sure I'm forgetting some things. We were blessed to have many homeschool co-op courses available to us as well.

Probably more than you wanted to know! Our three boys had different learning styles and we had some special needs to deal with too, so not everything worked for everybody.
