We used a combination of things over the years as I learned to refine and personalize. We did unit studies for the first few years (Five-in-a-Row, Learning Adventures), Horizons Math in the primary grades, some Alpha Omega and Switched-on Schoolhouse subjects, some Sonlight literature, VideoText Algebra and Geometry, Apologia sciences, Institute for Excellence in Writing... I'm sure I'm forgetting some things. We were blessed to have many homeschool co-op courses available to us as well.
Probably more than you wanted to know! Our three boys had different learning styles and we had some special needs to deal with too, so not everything worked for everybody.
No, I wanted to know! I am looking at doing something different for next year. I used to work for Alpha Omega Academy as a teacher, but had to quit when they started pushing real time web meetings and phone calls. I couldn’t do these with our poor Internet service and household noise!
