The seven nations targeted for new visitation restrictions by President Trump on Friday all have something in common: They are places he does not appear to have any business interests.
The executive order he signed Friday bars all entry for the next 90 days by travelers from Syria, Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Sudan, Somalia and Libya. Excluded from the lists are several majority-Muslim nations where the Trump Organization is active and which in some cases have also faced troublesome issues with terrorism.

Yeah, they need a good blowin-up.
Wow, so he doesn’t do business in the evil empire known as Iran? I am glad to hear that!
They are purposefully being deceptive. They want you to think of Trump as evil.
He doesn’t have a golf course in Syria?
Can’t imagine there’s a hell of a demand for luxury hotels and golf courses in Yemen.
What countries would the Compost add to the list?
You're missing the point. Trump does have business interests in Saudi Arabia (home of the 9/11 terrorists) and in the UAE, but those countries are not included in the current ban.
If you review the actual text of the executive order what you will immediately notice is that the order doesnt specify ANY countries to be included in the Visa suspension (Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen).
President Trump is not suspending visas from countries his team selected, they are simply suspending visa approval from countries President Obama selected. Additionally, Trump is suspending ALL visa applications from those countries nothing to do with Muslim applications.
In 2013 President Obama suspended refugees from Iraq for six months. In 2015 Congress passed, and Obama signed, a law restricting visas from states of concern; and in 2016 Obamas DHS, Jeh Johnson, expanded those restrictions. . all President Trump is doing is taking the same action as Obama 2013, and applying Visa restrictions to the nation states Obama selected in 2015 and 2016.
BTW, WaPo, the premise of your attack is completely ridiculous anyway. First of all, none of these “countries” are exactly Meccas for jet-set vacationers looking for $800.00/night hotel stays, and second, there’s dozens of other countries that Trump doesn’t do business with that are not on the list either.
So, why don’t you give us a break? Or do you really think people are so stupid as to believe that the main reason these terror-prone and/or failed countries are proscribed because the Trump companies aren’t involved there?
Excellent link for Obama restricting said muslim countries
