Justin Trudeau booed at disastrous town hall as polls show lowest approval ever
Breitbart ^ | 01/25/2017 | Frances Martel

A poll released Tuesday found Canadians disenchanted with liberal Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, whose approval ratings have fallen to their lowest since he assumed the nation’s highest office. The Forum Poll™, a public opinion firm, released their numbers while Trudeau was visiting western Calgary. Having called for “phasing out” oil sands from the nation’s economy, Calgarians greeted Trudeau with loud boos and, in some instances, barely managed to let Trudeau answer their barbed questions. Forum found that 48 percent of Canadians approve of the job Trudeau is doing as Prime Minister, the first time his approval has crossed the 50 percent mark. “Those are the worst numbers Forum — or any other pollster — has registered for Trudeau since he became prime minister,” the firm notes.

Make no mistake, he is still extremely popular among the urban elitists in Canada. But the pot is starting to simmer and there could be surprises outside the big cities and in the Prairies...

How about we just trade two of our more recalcitrant blue states for Saskatchewan and Alberta, and call it a deal?

Going to Calgary and calling for an end to the oil sands is like going to Kansas City and calling for a ban on the consumption of beef.

What sort of reaction did he THINK he would get??

I think at the rate things are going, Trudeau could be facing a vote of no-confidence by fall 2017 in the Canadian Parliament. And that will be the end of his time as Prime Minister.

As an Albertan I approve of this message.

As long as we keep lefties out. Those two provinces are so big, you could give away more liberal areas even.

He’d need to have a net loss of 15 seats in by-elections, or in defections. Unlike in the 1990s, he has an iron fist on his caucus as well.

If voters view the success of the Trump formula they’ll be having “Wow, I could have had a V-8” moments — perhaps all over this globe.

because he is soooooooo stupid, he never held a job and never made a living. He has lived off his family’s wealth. Why the adults in his party allow him to be the leader I will never know.

Quebec is my native province.

Canadians are not nasty at all. There’s none of the bad blood that seems to flow between Americans.

Saw a guy on CNN earlier in the week Kevin O’Leary who is going to run against Tredeau. He is like the Trump of Canada.
