In a remarkableif likely controversialfeat, scientists announced today that they have created the first successful human-animal hybrids. The project proves that human cells can be introduced into a non-human organism, survive, and even grow inside a host animal, in this case, pigs.
This biomedical advance has long been a dream and a quandary for scientists hoping to address a critical shortage of donor organs.

WTF am I looking at
That’s the one
If they can create organs and tissue in a dish (which they can) they can grow it in a pig and transplant it to a human. Organ harvesting.
It isn’t about getting “pig parts” for humans, we’ve already been down that road.
This is old news. The very first Man Pig was created years ago and they named it Rosie O’Donnell
Well, now that we have proven that we can cross humans with animals, what sort of hell will we unleash on ourselves?
...
I wouldn’t call it a hybrid or a cross. That’s a sensationalist title. It’s an animal with a human organ.
I don’t believe it for a minute.
In decisions like this, there should always be a group whose purpose is to consider and present the “Unintended Consequences” of the action.
Pandora’s box cannot be closed.
“I wouldnt call it a hybrid or a cross. Thats a sensationalist title. Its an animal with a human organ”.
Which, by definition, is a hybrid. Do you think that scientists will stop here? I’m not so certain that all scientists are ethical people.
Oh... so they're Congressmen?
Though I was initially taken aback, I think you are correct.
An organ transplant requires a living donor. There have been cases in which a family was pushed to donate their lives one’s organs because there was no hope of recovery. The families resisted the pressure and their loved ones surprisingly survived.
We play God when we end one life to save another. I’d rather end a pig’s life for a usable organ than take the life from a person made in the image of a God.
Heck with paging Dr Moreau, we need a real opinion here.
Will it be a human imprisoned in a pig body?
Do you think that scientists will stop here? Im not so certain that all scientists are ethical people.
...
The goal is to develop transplantable organs and save lives, but I suppose a person can “concern troll” about anything.
Lol, that Seinfeld episode was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this Posting.
Get a human heart for transplant and bacon on the side.
The Muzzies are going to love this!
A pig-man, Jerry, a pig-man!
