President Trump has announced that his administration will be launching a major investigation of voter fraud, including those who are registered in more than one state, “those who are illegal” and those voters who are dead but still registered. This followed a media firestorm in which the New York Times and others called Trump’s assertion a “lie.”
But just last week, President Obama told a whopper at his last news conference that went almost completely unnoticed, much less criticized.
He promised he would continue to fight voter-ID laws and other measures designed to improve voting integrity. The U.S. is “the only country among advanced democracies that makes it harder to vote,” he claimed.
This is demonstrably false. All industrialized democracies — and most that are not — require voters to prove their identity before voting.
Britain was a holdout, but last month it announced that persistent examples of voter fraud will require officials to see passports or other documentation from voters in areas prone to corruption.
The real problem in our election system is that we don’t really know to what extent President Trump’s claim is true because we have an election system that is based on the honor system. . .

Since we automatically register everyone who gets a drivers license to vote and we don’t verify citizenship ever, who could possibly say illegals don’t vote? There is no proof that it isn’t happening and every reason to believe it is happening.
Forget registering non-citizens, let’s register citizens and require proof of citizenship to vote. If Trump gets enough appointments to the SCOTUS it might just be possible.

I am the kind of guy who believes that conspiring to organize voter fraud (like arranging buses for illegal voting) should be a capital offense.

I think you are right. I would also look at votes that come out of nursing homes and votes that are from mail in ballots.
I think if you want an idea how wide spread voter fraud is all you have to is look at how wide spreads fraud is at every level of society.

What the Trump investigation of voter fraud has to ferret out, are the illegals in primarily California, New York and Illinois (that have large populations of illegal immigrants and are Dem run states) and who have gotten fraudulent, counterfeited documents, such as Driver’s Licenses, Social Security cards, etc. This allows them, as illegals, to go to the voter polling places and cast what appears to be “legal” votes. In reality it is legal votes cast based on illegal documentation.
This is how the Dems/Illegals are getting away with a lot of their voting fraud, and welfare fraud, and other kinds of fraud. They are using counterfeit docs to make these illegal aliens seem like they are legal citizens when they are not. Will not be easy to catch them, but it must be done in order to end the voter fraud.
Plus, once you track down the illegal voters, then you get the added bonus of being able to kick them out of the country for having voted illegally (a crime) and thus subject to Trump’s rules for deportation of criminals, as announced and reiterated today.
There is a large Dominican population in New York.
All votes in Washington State are mail-in ballots. Would be easy for a few postal employees to swing an election.
16 years ago I lived in Oregon. it is a mail in ballot state also. I never got my ballot and was not able to vote in that election. when I figured out that I did not have a ballot I couldn’t even pick up one because all ballots are mailed out to the residence. I am positive that I never got mine because I am registered as a republican. it is the only presidential election I ever missed voting in

When I voted in downtown Chicago 8 yrs ago, I was about to get out my ID when the ladies at the voting table all yelled “NO!! DO NOT GET YOUR ID OUT...IT”S NOT NEEDED”!!! I kept looking for my ID, and they practically went into convulsions! Out of these 5 women, only ONE was a Republican!
