An article in the New York Times for January 23 carried an editorialized headline: “Trump Repeats Lie About Popular Vote in Meeting With Lawmakers.” (Not “Trump Repeats Assertion” or “Trump Repeats Claim,” but “Trump Repeats Lie.” The article was not found on the opinion page of the newspaper’s print edition, but on page A1.) Reading very much like an opinion piece, the Times article stated: "President Trump used his first official meeting with congressional leaders on Monday to falsely claim that millions of unauthorized immigrants had robbed him of a popular vote majority, a return to his obsession with the election’s results even as he seeks support for his legislative agenda."

OK, maybe Trump’s wrong. But, what if millions of illegals could have voted? That’s almost as bad, and needs to be investigated. If it’s false, no harm, no foul. But, if it’s true (as I believe it is), massive tightening of voter ID, database cleaning, and the end of motor voter are in order.
The NYT did not do any fact checking. Trump will.

The NYT is no longer news. It is entertainment.
Many media outlets used the same wording, so of course, it was likely ordered by the DNC. It’s about time that the FEC investigate these orders to the media, and for them to start fining media outlets for undeclared campaign contributions.

Yes, maybe he did get it wrong as far as illegals go but I am certain that number of non citizens voting is accurate.
The Democrat talking points today seem to be:
“There is no proof of illegal voting, so there is no need to investigate”
If I were the White House Press Secretary, I would recind and ban The New York Times from any and all White House Press Briefings and all press invites and distribution lists.

This is the time to look at it.
So let’s have a thorough investigation. We need to know whether it could have happened and whether it was being encouraged, even if we cannot line up the perps and count them.
All fake nooz outlets should be banned not just the NYT.
