The Trump administration told the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to take down its global warming webpage, an anonymous EPA staffer said.
If the website goes dark, years of work we have done on climate change will disappear, the staffer told Reuters Tuesday. The staffer was not authorized to speak to the media and claimed EPA employees were scrambling to save data on the website.
The EPAs global warming webpage is currently still up as of Wednesday morning. The page contains some links to EPAs data on carbon dioxide (CO2) as well as other greenhouse gas emissions and lists the effects the agency says global warming will have. The site doesnt host much of the data, however, and only aggregates links to it.
EPA was ordered Tuesday to stop handing out grants for projects and research on global warming, air quality monitoring and education, and the agency instructed employees not to discuss the spending freeze outside the agency, according to anonymous leaks to multiple media outlets.

So the “web page” - selling their opinion - is “the work”, not research and analysis.
Climate Scientologists everywhere are on their knees beseeching their Saints Barnum, Hubbard and the Holy Lyysenko for deliverance.
“If the website goes dark we lose all the work.....”
Weeeel, since the whole concept is a fraud, that would not be a significant loss. IMHO.
Mental whiplash I’m sure for Libs ..haha
The O’ByeBye administration treated those who didn’t drink their koolaid as enemies where dissenting scientists were punished
Trump has merely removed a web page link and he is being vilified
If the website goes dark, years of work we have done on climate change will disappear, the staffer told Reuters Tuesday.
They first draw the graph by hand, then measure the coordinates. That’s govt climate change data.
REASON magazine’s “Environmental Reader” was an early kibosh on Al Gore’s warming obsession/money pit. They may have put a newer one out, but still mass copies of it should be required reading for the EPA crowd, lol.
REASON’s original ad said:
“Al Gore wants you to recycle our new Environmental Reader...before you read it”
Damn page is still up at the time of my post!
If it’s true that President Trump has ordered this page taken down, then if it’s still up by the end of today, then heads at the EPA need to roll for insubordination.
BTW, we all know this web page issue is merely symbolic; when Pruitt gets his hands on the EPA levers, the REAL dismantling of the anthropocentric climate change fiction at the EPA will begin. However, removing the web page is a great way to get the carbon acolytes at the EPA shaking in their Birkenstocks.
Genius Scientists do not know how basic understanding how the internet works..?
Yeah, but here is the thing, they said, “...years of work we have done on climate change will disappear...”
That is an accurate statement. We will not be able to see it. It’s a classic example of telling the truth, knowing full well most readers will infer something else.
I actually use that tactic myself from time to time. ;-)

Loving EVERYTHING that President Trump is doing...
He hit Washington D.C. like a Level F5 Tornado and he isn’t about to slow down!!!
WOOHOO!!!
“If the website goes dark, years of work we have done on climate change will disappear,
GOOD! FAKE “work”. More WINNING!
F’n BEAUTIFUL..
Making up data is hard work.
US Marshals need to be dispatched immediately to the EPA building to shut it down and arrest everyone inside.
Can someone remind me? What was the Obama admin position on leaks? What did the press think of leaks during the Obama years?
I’m not asking for a lot of homework and documentation on this - just general impressions. I’m so accustomed to flagrant double-standards from the MSM that I would not be surprised if one is at play here as well. Still, I don’t want to assume too much.
I was reserving judgement on Trump, to a degree. I wanted to see if he was like other politicians when it came to action.
I loved that he wasn’t like them in conduct, he gives it back, none of this “I disagree with my esteemed colleague across the aisle” crap. He dishes when he gets.
And I love the people he was nominating. Nearly all of them were 100% spot on.
But I didn’t know if he would actually follow through.
He apparently does. I am on board.
I will say, I am concerned for his safety. Leftists have no self control, are delusional, and becoming increasingly unhinged. But he knows the risks, I’m sure.
