The photo that the media has been showing of the Trump inauguration, that they have been using to FALSELY assert that the crowd as small, is a DECEPTION. The photo was not taken at noon when Trump was being sown in. Peter Mansbridge, the anchorman of The National on the CBC stated during the Jan 20 broadcast that the photo was taken AN HOUR BEFORE the ceremonies even began! IE: the picture was taken an hour before the 9:30 AM opening ceremonies when the crowd was still filling in at not yet at full capacity! The media is once again engaging in yet another low down dirty manipulation & outright hoax. I watched the Trump inauguration LIVE via television so I knew right away that this media narrative / lie [ of a "small" Trump crowd with the media deceptively using this early MORNING picture] was false as the cameras had panned away during the Trump address showing a large crowd assembled at the moment Trump was sworn in and giving his inaugural address. I notice that no one seems to be pointing out this pertinent and important fact - that the picture in question was taken an hour BEFORE the ceremonies even began! This is yet another MEGA deception that the media is using to try to delegitimize Donald Trump. I hope that Trump himself could address this mega deception to the public.

Spicer repeated exactly what he said, which includes TV and online viewership. (and, of course..."the crowd") 31 million on TV, ll million FOX website, 8.5 million NBC , plus CSPAN.org, plus, plus, plus.
Right. And neither is the "fact" that nobody attended the Trump rallies.

I heard in talk-radio that the Old Media has lost the Fake News battle. The word’s meaning has flipped to expose the drive-by media as I understand it.
But maybe you have a point? Too much confusion with the term?
It's fun to be right! I watched the opening five minutes of the ABC Evening News and all they talked about was the tiff with the press over the inaugural attendance. It's TOO easy.
I could only take five minutes of the show so I don't know if they covered Trump's executive actions later on, but you know what's the most important thing to them because that's what comprises the opening segment.
Wonder how long it will take for them to wake up and realize they're being played. Hopefully at least four years - LOL.

I think we’re asking the wrong question. It is not about how many attended the inauguration. The question is which President had the biggest Balls.
If you choose to believe or not, Metro ridership numbers showed less than 600,000 riders for Trump’s inauguration. Obama had over 1M in ‘08 and over 800,000 in ‘12. I think the rain and disruption cause by protesters both worked against the Trump crowd.
