This is how we pay for repealing Obamacare. Cut. Cut. Cut.

For those interested, here is a 12-page annual report by the National Endowment of the Humanities:

https://www.neh.gov/files/neh_2015_annual_report_final.pdf

It has some details on how/where they granted their money that year. Pretty helpful when your liberal loudmouth cousin complains about DRACONIAN cuts to spending . . .

Then look them in the eye and explain that until the government learns that $20 trillion in debt requires SACRIFICE to those who are not high priorities it will never solve the job.

Link it to a family living paycheck to paycheck and making the decision to eliminate HBO or find a $50 month cheaper auto insurer or shopping for food at WalMart.

MAYBE the light might start to flicker in their uneducated brains . . .

“For one thing, I’m pretty damn sure Mitch McConnell’s wife is not going to be overseeing a shrinking U.S. Department of Transportation. “

I’m “pretty damned sure” if she doesn’t do what Trump wants, he will put her on the street!

A 10 year old told my boy once “you better do what I say because my dad works for the federal government. He can punish your parents.”

now, why would a young kid even think to say that? What does he hear in his home?

Overall, the blueprint being used by Trump’s team would reduce federal spending by $10.5 trillion over 10 years.

How is that possible without significant reductions to Social Security and Medicare.

The departments of Commerce and Energy would see major reductions in funding, with programs under their jurisdiction either being eliminated or transferred to other agencies. The departments of Transportation, Justice and State would see significant cuts and program eliminations.

The Corporation for Public Broadcasting would be privatized, while the National Endowment for the Arts and National Endowment for the Humanities would be eliminated entirely.

That's what I call WINNING!

MOST EXCELLENT!! Although I'm more interested in the reduction over 1 year and 4 years. Maybe 8 years.

Ten years is someone else's administration.

If he is able to reduce spending by 10.5 trillion, he would be the most conservative president we have ever had. I am all for it.

Various programs and departments should have to meet benchmarks of accomplishment that are predefined. If they are not actually doing anything that is measurably important and necessary they should be automatically eliminated or reduced. Some things outlive their usefulness. Funny that the article says they will be all upset about cuts - but they have already gone to the maximum level of upset, so their reactions to specifics are meaningless since they are hysterical either way. The over the top crying has given a sort of blank check. Oops.

Cabinet nominees need to learn to respond to the likes of liar Liz Warren that their responsibility is to maximize results and eliminate the non-value added bureaucrats.

The National Endowment for Disgusting Art and anti-American Propaganda needs to be eliminated in it’s entirety.

IF they want to produce this garbage let them find some wealthy donor to support it, not the taxpayers.

As for National People’s Revolutionary Radio, that needs to end, and People’s Revolutionary Broadcasting System needs to go away too.

This is an excellent start.
