President-elect Donald Trump has met with one of the judges on his short list for potential Supreme Court nominees, less than two weeks before he is expected to announce his choice for the nations highest court.
Judge William Pryor, an Alabama-based judge on the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, met with Trump in New York on Saturday, said two people familiar with the meeting. They spoke on condition of anonymity because the meeting had not been publicly announced. [ ]
The likely confirmation of Trumps choice by a Republican-controlled Senate would restore a fifth vote for conservative outcomes in cases involving voting rights, the power of unions and in class-action lawsuits, lost with Scalias death. Trump also has said he wants an abortion opponent on the bench, although it would take a second Trump appointee to bring about dramatic change on that issue.

I hope he’s not the choice. I’ve read a lot of info about him and we deserve better.
Janice Rogers Brown.
Judge Roy Brown, just to hear the commies scream.
From the article:

OK who blabbed??
I just read that Richard Pryor was the Alabama State attorney general that got Judge Roy Moore kicked off the Alabama supreme court for refusing to take down the 10 Commandments. No thanks!
Judge Roy Moore... senior moment, LOL.
I heard that he is great. A strong Constitutionalist.
I'd personally like to hear information about the longevity of the parents, grandparents, and siblings of each of these candidates.
Whoever Trump picks, it must be someone who has a long and unquestionable record of being a Conservative judge. No more Souters!
I like the way you think.
How about Victor Davis Hanson?
From what I read Pryor has the support of former Sen. Demint.
Influential conservatives are pressing President-elect Donald Trump to nominate Bill Pryor, a judge feared and disdained by liberals but loved by conservatives because of his titanium spine, to the Supreme Court.

I want a younger, healthy rock ribbed conservative. That will stay true for 30 years.
alabama on the rise!
Can someone tell me when the vote on sessions i?
I heard Hugh Hewitt endorse him today.
That was enough to take him off my list.
