Democrats who confuse hating Donald Trump with Mom and apple pie as the all-American recipe to win elections are blowing their chances, such as they are, for the 2018 midterm elections. If youre a Democrat its never too soon to fret and stew about the prospects.
But Democrats are having so much fun despising the Donald theyre forgetting duty to party and responsibility to exploit opportunity. The party on the outs nearly always picks up a few seats in the midterms. But sore losers forget the ancient bipartisan admonition that now is the time for every man to come to the aid of the party. And that includes the women.
Even if the diehard losers can get their act together soon, the job of making a dent in the Donalds Republican prospects will be daunting. Thirty-three seats in the Senate will be up for election in 2018, and 25 of those are now held by Democrats. Additionally, two independents who caucus and usually vote with Democratic senators will be completing their six-year terms.

now is the time for every man to come to the aid of the party. Also, a frequently used phrase during Typing 101.
Hating Trump is a prog’s definition of patriotism.
They are “fresh” out of ideas and don’t know what else to do. Pathetic!
They have not yet begun to hate. That will start Friday.
The best line of the article was the last one: “America needs two parties to make the system work but it doesnt need this (rat) one.”
Bears repeating. Our objective when it comes to the rats should be Destroy and Replace.
The RATs have established themselves as an anti-American party and will become known as such in the minds of the American people.
I don’t agree that Democrats are blowing their mid-term chances by being silly, they’ve been silly since the ‘60s and won plenty of elections.
Trump will determine what happens when the mid-terms come by his (and the Republican congress) performance between now and then.
Still use it today when testing a font or something. I learned on my mother’s typewriter on the kitchen table how to type. I think I learned to type before I learned to write. My father was a writer and my mom typed his edited manuscripts With onion skin paper and carbon paper. She was a GREAT TYPIST. You couldn’t make too many mistakes in those days, correct-a-type to the rescue. When self correcting typewriters were invented OH MY GOD. It was HUGE. NOW IS THE TIME FOR ALL GOOD MEN TO COME TO THE AID OF THE PARTY. It is imbedded in my brain and today, after over a decade in politics and now as my profession, it means much more.
The good news for us is the conventional wisdom, invariably wrong, is coalescing around Trump is failing. We know under estimating Trump is a recipe for butthurt !
They are hoping for a Trump failure—a scandal filled term that will cause the people to turn to Obama and the Democrats to save them in 2018 and 2020—then Elizabeth Warren will be elected president!!! That is the dream—but it is a fantasy. They have never had to deal with a punch back President. They think he’s just a Bush on Steriods—he isn’t!

The progs think Trump is an extreme conservative: think Goldwater unleashed. He isn't. He is now, as Presdient-Elect, and will be after inauguration, a punch-back (good term) conservative, populist president. On top of that he is a can-do, git-er-done guy in the best American tradition. If the Republican congress backs him up, he will roll over the progs/libs, commies, and anarchists and set himself up for another term.
It is Trump Derangement Syndrome.
TDS will get them nowhere. Gosh, how I love their meltdown!
