A growing group of Democratic lawmakers will boycott President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration Friday to protest what they described as his alarming and divisive policies, foreign interference in his election and his criticism of civil rights icon John Lewis, a congressman from Georgia.
There are now more than 50 House Democrats — 52, at last count — who have declared that they will not attend the inauguration on Capitol Hill this week. The number rose sharply after Trump tweeted Saturday that Lewis (D) is “all talk, talk, talk” and should “finally focus on the burning and crime infested inner-cities.”

Democrats are too stupid to realize that this kind of stuff has a way of backfiring on them. Sort of like how Dingy Harry was so proud of himself for exercising the nuclear option and now it’s going to come back and bite the Dems in the ass.

Great-Hopefully all the rats will not go. The party of tolerance like the religion of peace-oxymorons. I’m praying for secession of the blue states so they can run their country as they see fit.
The purpose of boycotting the inauguration is to gain attention and demonstrate to the Dem base that their leaders deserve to and must remain their leaders even after the devastating defeat they just suffered. To a degree that Republicans find hard to grasp, gesture, moral preening and posturing, and even fantasy have a potent effect on the minds of Democrats. That is all the boycott is — a gesture — but it will have real consequences in inhibiting the Dems from having a sensible discussion about why they lost.
Yup, just like those intelligence guys who signed onto the Never-Trump letters and are now whining that Trump won't offer them jobs or return their phone calls. LOL!

Garth brooks has decided not to sing at the inaugural because of a scheduling conflict...geez I bet that if it were for OVOMIT all conflicts would be thrown to the wayside for a chance to sing at his demonic presidential inauguration!!!
