The departing CIA director John Brennan has launched a scathing attack on Donald Trump, warning the President-elect does not fully understand the threat posed to the US by Russia.
As Reuters reports, Brennan's comments, during an interview on "Fox News Sunday," exposed the simmering tensions between the president-elect and the intelligence community he has criticized and is on the verge of commanding.
Brennan also questioned the message it sends to the world if the president-elect broadcasts he does not have confidence in the United States' own intelligence agencies.

Unfortunately very familiar but somehow this guy got confirmed with no push back.
The Russian “threat” is the CIA’s rice bowl.
Extremely dangerous. Ought to be jailed for collusion, treason and sabotage and fabricating false evidence and I,would say even for attempting a coup.
Friday cannot get here soon enough.
why should he or we trust any federal intelligence/leo agency to keep us safe?. all they’ve done is demonstrate their varying degrees of corruption and incompetence over three decades in a costly (in terms of blood and treasure) sea of unsavory alphabet soup.
Amen!
Get out Brennan! And take your prayer rug with you.

Since we are part of the world, what msg. do we get? That they put out info to the news papers about golden showers that never happened. That they lack some credibility. That they failed to hold political people accountable for putting national secrets at risk by putting that info on a non-secure computer and then tried to blame the PE for it being hacked!! Wow, conclusions like that do a whole lot to win the world’s confidence, doesn’t it???
They threatened to withhold security issues from Trump before he was elected. What does that say to ME? That they don’t want to answer to their boss, they are subversive, and dishonest. Good ethics are lacking and they can’t measure up to the ethical standards that Trump demands. They can’t even keep a security meeting with him, confidential!
It tells me that Trump will be cleaning out that swamp, too, or that he needs to. THEN perhaps the world WILL have some respect. But as of late, the intelligence community hasn’t done itself very many favors over the last few years.
Amen.
IMO, Trump should build massive walls and not leave his own Estate in Florida. Only accept visits from close friends and family with screenings for chem/bio weapons. Never get on a plane/chopper. And do all meetings remotely.
He is such a threat to the bastards, I wouldnt be surprised if they get one of his assigned USSS guys to turn
If I were Mr. Trump I would reply the only threat we have from Russia now is having half our military done away with and the other half so handicapped by political correctness by the losing and outgoing administration that I might be a bit worried.
Im still wondering how an adherent of an enemy ideology got put into this important position

Really? It’s not at all a mystery. Barack Hussein Obama, Kenyan from Indonesia, even if born in Hawaii as a British subject is not a natural born citizen, usurping the Presidency with help from the GOP put him in there.
There are those who say the CIA has become politicized.
Others say, no it hasn’t.
Thank goodness Brennan is here to clear it up.
The intelligence community is filled with bureaucrats like Valerie Plame, who need to be expelled before they do to Trump what she did to Bush.
FIRE HIM.
And get rid of the rest of the Obama/Saudi SHADOW GOVT.
And BTW this is the same intelligence community that didn’t locate Libyas WMDs or much of the Al Qaeda hierarchy - they couldn’t or wouldn’t find their ass with both hands
Shouldn’t the spy agency chief refrain from public statements undermining the president? Duh!
Well hes outgoing so hes already packing for the expected dismissal.
I am talking about what happens to him after he leaves. He doesnt get to just leave without consequences and keep his pension and get some cushy private sector job somewhere.
Lyndon Baines always did love hisself a little irony.
