Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton lost the presidential race against President-elect Donald Trump in November, and a Friday report from Politico asserts supermarket tabloids are to blame.
Media reporter Jack Shafer asserts that the sheer volume of anti-Clinton reporting from tabloids, Fox News and Breitbart was just too much for Democrats to fight effectively during the course of the campaign.
Shafer acknowledges that no one really reads tabloids like The National Enquirer and The Globe, citing the fact that Enquirer only has a weekly circulation of 342,071 issues, down significantly from the publications height of 5.9 million issues during the 1970s

That is the end goal of stealing our country from us, global government. The New World Order that George HW Bush set in motion.
Well I was going to vote for her but I kept seeing all these Major American Newspapers in the SuperWalMart, and remembering how right they were in reporting aliens meeting with Bush and Reagan and the miracle boy who could see through his ears.
She had so many problems that she had to expend her last minute ammo months early to try to save her. That Billy Bush video was supposed to be saved for the weekend before the election to destroy Trump rather than on month before to distract from email and corruption scandals. Just imagine all of the RINO scurrying away from Trump and calls for his replacement on the Friday before the election rather than early October.
Clearly, Democrat voters should legally be required to wear blinders, so they won’t be influenced by unapproved news.
There’s been a lot of talk here on FreeRepublic about the possibility that Hillary Clinton has Parkinson’s Disease, but I would not be surprised if we find out some years from now that she was simply a raging alcoholic.
Is there an official list of why Hellry lost?
Russia
Tabloids
FBI’s Comey
Recounts in 3 states
Please add others I’ve missed...
Yup. But maybe it was an ongoing issue for her? I’d keep an eye on her. I wouldn’t be surprised if she ends up in the hospital sometime in the near future.
Her health is not the best.
Could be. Clearly she wasn’t right... for whatever reason.
Plus the campaign process is so grueling that even a young healthy person would have difficulties with it.
Actually, it is the “trial by fire” that tests a person for the job of president. All presidents start out looking young and spry and then end up looking old and haggard. Could be the passed of time, too — 4/8 years — but it is not an easy job and the campaign is probably the worst of the whole process.
I was gonna post a Bat Boy comment, but yours is better than mine woulda been.
But, now that I look at your picture of Bat Boy, he sure does look like Son of Carville.

If your sweetheart sends a letter of goodbye
It’s no secret you feel better if you cry
When waking from a bad dream
Don’t you sometimes think it’s real?
But it’s only false emotions that you feel
If your heartaches seem to hang around too long
And your blues keep getting bluer with each song
Remember sunshine can be found behind a cloudy sky
So let your hair down and go on and cry

Here’s the reason Hillary should have lost: The MSM should have told all of their readers and listeners everything they had on her. If they’d have done that, she wouldn’t have gotten 25% of the vote. For that matter, she wouldn’t even have been nominated.
Instead, they did the opposite, protected her, and spewed all the dirt they could find on Trump. And still she lost.
If they are looking someone to blame for her loss, they need to look at jOkeas who whooped her in ‘08, who appoints her SoS and does not check on what she is doing. And, she ties herself to him as his third term, which, dooms her.
Proof that the left think sitcoms are the real world.
