ITS NOT PLAGIARISM IF YOURE QUOTING!!!! I agree. When I wrote my master's thesis, the advisor didn't want me to put any original thoughts in it. It became a collection of quotes from others. As long as you make the proper attributions it's acceptable.

ITS NOT PLAGIARISM IF YOURE QUOTING!!!!Quite right, if you attribute the quote. I think she failed to properly footnote or otherwise acknowledge that short section in a large thesis. I do not believe that she intentionally did so.
