Trump mocks Lindsey Graham at presser, cracks up room full of reporters

President-elect Donald Trump took no prisoners in a contentious press conference Tuesday.

A reporter questioned Trump on a bill Graham and Sen. John McCain are proposing to increase sanctions on Russia.

“I haven’t heard Lindsey Graham is going to do that. Lindsey Graham, Lindsey Graham, I’ve been competing with him for a long time. He’s going to crack that 1 percent barrier one day,” Trump quipped.

I’m no fan of Graham or McCain, but when attacked, I doubt they’ll suddenly become choir boys and treat Trump well. Of course, he could send them candy and flowers daily, and they wouldn’t fall in love with him. On the other hand, you can always catch more flies with honey than vinegar.

What an idiotic statement. Do you know what the vote was between? We had Ann Kirkpatrick, a leftist, gun grabbing, two stepping, Pocahontas wannabe who boasted that Obamacare was her chief accomplishment versus that evil, dreadful snake McCain. They do it to us every time. It came down to Kirkpatrick who takes our guns versus McCain who won’t. And that’s how the Arizona GOP always wants it.

We try to primary the bastard every six years. J.D. Hayworth and Kelli Ward were great candidates. We voted for them. We tried, and they were drowned in open primaries. So we got a horrible general election choice, and we voted for the ancient scumbag who will eventually die versus a dangerous feminist cretin who might hang around awhile.

Yesterday, Tuesday, at the Sessions Confirmation Hearing Lindsay asked a very strange question in a very harsh tone. He had a very odd expression on his face to go with this. Basically he seemed to be asking Sessions if he knew that the Russians were mean and hacked the election. Sessions indicated that he had read press reports but did not have additional info. Lindsay acted frustrated with this answer but was obviously leading somewhere with this. Whatever Lindsay was trying to do did not quite come out in the questioning or response. Now when you add up that Lindsay and McCain both knew of the intelligence report on the dastardly things Trump supposedly did in Moscow and Trump’s supposed close relationship with Putin, and Lindsay’s knowledge that this wicked information was to explode into public just before Trump’s news conference, it really makes me wonder. I believe that Lindsay and McCain did not endorse Trump because they were tricked by the phony intel report before the election and expected to be seen as correct all along in their assessment of Trump. These two senators are dangerous wild cards and are not friends of Trump’s movement.

My take is there are far more within the GOP involved here. Recall that the ex spook that supposedly gave this to McCain was originally hired by one or more of the primary opponents. Most likely in descending order, Bush, Cruz, or Rubio. Lindsey no doubt clued in by McCain. The fact that none of them, nor Hillary, and not even the press thought the story was remotely credible, and even plausible enough to be used during the campaign.

Once again, Trump has managed to turn the tables on these Benedict Arnold's. Trump is going to squash these establishment moles. Note in his presser today, he tested his inner circle to see if there could be a mole within by keeping an intel meeting secret to everyone. Trump is going to win this war with the establishment. But it will be bloody.

The republican party of South Carolina can change it. The problem is that they’re the establishment — the GOPe. They have no desire to change it because it keeps them in power and conservatives out of office. A lot of other states have open primaries but aren’t as strongly influenced by democrats.
